That's why we are training the ANA (Afghan National Army) and the ANP (Afghan National Police). Though to say that the Taliban is winning is equally untrue. The Taliban has lost not only the multitudes of fighters that the US has killed, but their attacks, have caused the afghan people to lose faith in their governing ability. I talked to many Afghans, some with the aid of a local interpreter, but a lot try to learn English. One of the main things they told me was that they did not want the US to pull out. They told me that they felt safer when we were around. Yes, the Taliban says that they are trying to get rid of the occupying force, but that is their propaganda.

Though to say that the Taliban is winning is equally untrue. The Taliban has lost not only the multitudes of fighters that the US has killed, but their attacks, have caused the afghan people to lose faith in their governing ability. This is one of those things that can not just be described in simple terms

I talked to many Afghans, some with the aid of a local interpreter, but a lot try to learn English. One of the main things they told me was that they did not want the US to pull out. They told me that they felt safer when we were around. Yes, the Taliban says that they are trying to get rid of the occupying force, but that is their propaganda.

@Tryndets Agreed. Problem is, the fat cats in Haliburton and the Pentagon are not the ones dying. They don't care about Afghans, Russians, or US soldiers they send to fight. They only care for the money they get from "rebuilding" nations. Greed runs our politics. It kills and leaves other nations poor. Now it is making US citizens poor.
