Maybe I was using the term life after death a little too loosely. We're not as far off the same page as I first thought. But when I say "life after death", I don't mean that you or me personally go somewhere and are still alive fully aware of the details of their past life..It's "your" consciousness. Almost as if when you die, there is new life somewhere in whatever form (spirit, humanoid etc.)and that consciousness becomes you. Maybe were influenced in someway by a previous life?
I'm not completely discounting the possibility of ghosts and spirits link to our physical human experience. Some people believe without a shadow of a doubt that they have come into contact with the ghost of a deceased relative, that tells them something somehow, or takes on characteristics of what that person did at one time. So I don't think that is out of the question either..Like I said, I'm extremely optimistic. Our universe is infinite and we know only a tiny fraction about it.

Me personally, I believe the most likely scenario is that when you die there is a conscious being somewhere and that becomes "you". In this sense, I mean consciousness as just the recognition of being or self in whatever form. However, that doesn't mean I don't believe maybe there is a higher being, or their is a spirit world where we do have awareness of our human experience. I just truly believe that when you die, you can not be stuck in black unconsciousness for all of eternity.

Others, believe there is a god they have to abide by, some believe in reincarnation, some believe this whole "human" experience and the world is just an illusion of our consciousness, some believe that your spirit returns back to its original source. Maybe I was using the term life after death a little too loosely. We're not as far off the same page as I first thought. But when I say "life after death", I don't mean that you or me personally go somewhere and are still alive fully aware of the details of their past life..It's "your" consciousness. Almost as if when you die, there is new life somewhere in whatever form (spirit, humanoid etc.)and that consciousness becomes you. Maybe were influenced in someway by a previous life?

I'm not completely discounting the possibility of ghosts and spirits link to our physical human experience. Some people believe without a shadow of a doubt that they have come into contact with the ghost of a deceased relative, that tells them something somehow, or takes on characteristics of what that person did at one time. So I don't think that is out of the question either..Like I said, I'm extremely optimistic. Our universe is infinite and we know only a tiny fraction about it.

Me personally, I believe the most likely scenario is that when you die there is a conscious being somewhere and that becomes "you". In this sense, I mean consciousness as just the recognition of being or self in whatever form. However, that doesn't mean I don't believe maybe there is a higher being, or their is a spirit world where we do have awareness of our human experience. I just truly believe that when you die, you can not be stuck in black unconsciousness for all of eternity.
