To the saxophonist, I realize that you're doing your own version, however keep in mind that there is a reason that Miles Davis often played few note and used well placed "rest" in his amazing music. This may also be why the original solo in this EWF tune didn't fly all over the place. "Less can be more". With that said, I do think you're a good player, just save some notes for the next song lol. An absolutely hellacious performance covering 2 of EWF's most dynamic & hard-core Afro-soul rhythmic classics! Your rendition of "POWER" is unique in capturing the essence/feel of the overall flow. The smooth, seamless transition to "Africano"; with an on-point rhythmic intro leading to the horns, is straight ridiculous!!!! Great perf's on clavinet, tenor (solo was sick!), rhythm git....

THIS RITE HERE is nuthin's less than a 5-STAR production!!! I LOVE IT!!!

Hey yall...i've got a chance to see thw real EWF and THE ALL SATRS live here in Brasil.Man, agreeded or not, the ALL STARS sounded much much more better, the sounds were really great and the voices got that metalic and high tune by witch the ELEMENTS were once noun.

I'm a great fun of EWF, but i have to admit THE ALL STARS sounds much mor EWF them themselves, nowadays...

Philip is still the icon on the higher notes, but nothing more...at least live

I reply to all sites falsely and wrongly advertising Al McKay Allstars as the genuine EWF - and your derogatory comments towards the original band don't help either leftyprat. I will always defend EWF against ill judged and sad remarks like yours - and running down other comment makers too. I happen to think Al McKay is a very talented man and his band are good - I would certainly go and see them, but people like you running down the band you claim to love are just idiotic.

I had the chance to be at their concert in Warsaw(2006). It was miraculously!!. They really still are playing perfectly !!
