I like this but just like Shattered Memories theme it doesn't fit. I mean I had always thought the whole idea of Silent Hill was to leave you with an ambient uneasy feeling. Not that I'm not going to favorite it, it's just way to in your face (if that makes since).

@Renma2010 I think the reason this song is so in your face because it represents Alessa (and her anger) in this game. 'Cos I mean isn't this the game where you get to see her use a lot of her power? Like the scene where Travis is talking to Dahlia and then you get this amazing little video of Alessa floating in the air and crumbling everything around her and turning the ground into fire and rust.

the first silent hill is the best of the series, no doubt in my opinion, but the sh2 is my fav by far, and this origins its so badass. the sh3 was kinda like not too serious and the sh4 was more like going to another theme with some aspects that brought back to sh. XD

Even though the cerberus would appear through SH 1-4 and the patient-demons reappeared in SH0 he Demons tended to be pretty nice in every new game...

I didn't thought it started to get boring...rather more interesting... what does the demon represent in the mind of the protagonist.

Silent Hill isn't about being the coolest game out there...its about the horror and the most shocking moments (in my opinon) had never anything to do, with the normal monsters...

Actually it is South Ashfield in Silent Hill 4 and the only games in which the Silent Hill cult of Samael is the main story are 1, 3 and Zero. actually i already knew about James killing his wife the letter part that i didn't know and for the demons already knew about the personal demon we're the creation of the personal conflicts within the people trapped in Silent Hill when i bought Silent Hill Origins (PS2) and saw Travis personal demons

Yeah, he made up getting a letter. In reality, Mary was in the trunk of his car the whole time. I think he was driving to Silent Hill to kill himself in the lake with Mary in the trunk of his car, but had some sort of episode and blocked it out mentally, replacing it with the letter story. No, you have it completely wrong.

Mary's only been dead (and properly buried) for a couple weeks. Before she died, she wrote a (rather lengthy) letter to James to be given to him after she died. James deluded himself into thinking that his wife died of the disease a couple years ago, and he only processed the first part of the letter. The full letter is read in every ending, so you can look up a video of that if you want.

Because Silent Hill is more about the story and you get to know more and more about not only the characters but the town itself every time you play the next game. You get enough to be freaked out and scared if you've never played before but to those continuing you get more.

Resident Evil only really did that up till 3. 4 came out and now 5 looks just like 4 with a new location so its obvious they've switched to gameplay focus. Its more like doom now then a 3rd person survival horror.

i played Silent Hill 2 4 and i own origins and saw the demonic infestation and i admit there desturbing but only 1 3 origins are in the story of Alessa and yes Resident Evil has had multiple stories but they all have a couple of things in commenthey all have to do with umbrella the T-Virus Raccoon city viral outbreak and the Mansion incedent and every Silent Hill game are the same only new people and demons but every time it's in the same town atleast Resident Evil takes you to new places

Actually they all do have things in common. Alessa isn't always the focus but her fellow orphans and the angel Vatiel is. When Silent Hill began to leave the town, fans got upset so it was actually a better move to stay there in Silent Hill. 4 Originally was not about Alessa but did become about her as Walter was a fellow orphan trying to revive "mother" whom is the angel inside Alessa. 2 also often referred back to Alessa and Walter, but 5 is expected not to as its done by an entirely new crew.
