  • cool I'm going pheasant hunting with my grandpa in Sonoma CA the day after christmas

  • what state is this in

  • great vid to. went out today with my dad, neighbor, his dad, and his grandpa. we were in a flood and are still recovering. but its taking breaks to go hunting with friends and family that makes it feel like it never happened. so happy to have them in my life and probably will never take them for granted again. we got 2 birds each and had a blast. keep up the good work.

  • i don't like this style of pheasant hunting, its too easy, when you have a guy stand at the end of a slough and another two people on either side of it then they push the birds down to the guy at the end, all the birds come out when the two people get to the end, its a lot more fun and theres at least a little challenge in it

  • @mtinch7 Just walking is really not that much different than your blocking. This is just as challenging as blocking other than the fact that there isn't a cluster of birds in the end. There's just as much of a challenge if not more. When your out walking the birds will run like hell a lot of the time. So that is also quite challenging

  • Try training your dog to flush the birds and maybe letting them fly more than 10 yard before you shoot them. not very sporting........

  • @sharkphil1 if you train your dog to flush out the bird hes going to start doing it before you get there then the bird will be 20 yards away. "not very sporting?" there just out having fun. it doesnt matter what you come home with its being out with friends and family doing something you love.

  • what do you guys do after you kill the bird? do you eat them?

  • @VideoMan911 , You bet, we eat everything we kill, even if we accidently run over a snake.

  • @FischerOutdoors but isnt there lead pellets in the bird

  • @VideoMan911 A lot of them pass through the bird. There is sometimes a pellet or 2 in there after you cook them, but it doesn't do any harm to you... unless you bite down, then it hurts haha

  • @FischerOutdoors do you pick out te buck shot?

  • 0:22 is that Deano?

  • i bet you like the hung!

  • how did you like the hung? im thinking about going up there next year.

  • Camanche is a nice place to hunt. It is easy walking and the people that run the preserve and the club house are real nice. It makes for an easy and enjoyable day.
