It was not the actually force of the wave that did it.

What happened is that the wooden rail around the guard came undone and thats what smashed the bridge window, . An unfortunate sequence of events.

You really have done well here-it is very interesting to see from a passenger's point of view-and you stayed admirably calm! Did you not feel seasick? From other clips where the ship lost powre, it looked really severe motion!

Perhaps you should have explained that you were not a newscaster but a passenger and that the images were taken by an amateur. It makes them all the more impressive. Hope you didn't have too bad an experience. And that all passengers were safe (if slightly damaged).
