I run an Ibuypower set up, win 7 ultimate with 4 GB ram intel core 2 duo wolfdale (3.0Ghz), and a 1 gb EVGA 9800 GTX+, I got it almost 2 years ago, and this thing is sexy, since I was only 16 when i bought it and i worked at a movie theatre, I had to keep it below 1200, and i got mine for 980, and back when I played wow, on a 1920x 1200 resolution on max graphics with shadows, this puppy would be at 75 FPS constant with jumps up to 120-150, no vsync

Building a PC isn't hard at all. If you learn how you build your own PC then you could get a lot more for your money. Just buy the parts from newegg . c o m . When you build your own PC there is no labor fee. :) It will blow you mind if you learned what kind of PC you could build with $1500 if you bought the parts from newegg . c o m and built the PC yourself.

I'm getting a similar set up, but with a 4770 512MB from IBuy, the end price came out to be $710.17, that's including the S&H and the Conversion from USD to CAD. I can't say I'd reccommend them until I get my rig and have had a go at it. Just like everywhere else, they'll have mixed reviews. (Good and Bad!)

You won't find that exact model, as all the computers at Ibuy are customizable and the chances of you finding that exact set up, is slim. Find reviews and such on certain components and you be the judge as to whether or not you will get that set up or not. The set up looks nice, but I would certainly upgrade that GPU!

I have had mine for over a year now, done a lot of tuning and upgrading to it, and have had no problems so far. As long as you have a little hardware knowledge on PC's, you should be fine.

the thing about that is, many of the PC's that are ""dead on arrival"" that people complain about from iBuyPower, don't have much wrong with them at all. Majority of the time it's something minor, like a hard drive unplugged, and people that are computer retarded can't do so much as open up the case and check it out before they write a nasty bad review. And if your PC really IS dead on arrival, they will exchange it. Just my two cents, they aren't a bad company. Good luck. =]

well first off, your ping has nothing to do with your computer. Ping is the amount of time it takes for your computer to send and receive back a packet from a specific host or server somewhere else in the world. Ping is based solely on the speed of your internet connection, and how physically far away you are from the server.

They do seem to be in a rush throwing these things together, but you won't run into any problems that aren't easily fixed with a little hardware knowledge. They don't just ship dead PC's, all systems are tested before they go out.

It comes with the case fan on the side (the blue one) and the rear case fan.  Which comes black, but I replaced it with a blue LED fan...

It stays at a good temp, but it all just depends on your CPU cooler... If you are overclocking, you will definitely need to upgrade your CPU cooler.

I agree, but you do have to admit this is a great pre-built system for the price... By building the same rig, you would only be cutting 50-60 bucks off the price tag. I looked up the parts. =]

Then how can iBuypower sell it at such a cheap price you may ask? Because they buy all their components in bulk, at cheaper prices, then can afford to sell the system at 50 dollars more than retail value for all the parts. They're a solid company. I trust them.

I've had mine for 6 months now, and still running smooth. Even if you do get a PC from them that is dead on arrival, if you know anything about PC maintenance, then you should easily be able to solve the problem... Usually something may have just come unplugged during shipping... The company doesn't just send out dead PC's. All systems are tested before shipment.

yeah i have this computer now, its really nice . cod 5 max 1920x1080 40-75 fps rarely drops below 40 in some of the really intense parts. WoW on high runs straight 60 fps, on ultra 50ish. vista experience scored a 5.5 and l4d is constant 60+ fps max. definatly buy this computer

If no; Very much so, yes. Very High on 1680x1050 is actually a lot easier to run on XP, but I'd still go with simply High for a nice FPS.

The HD3650 will be fine for WaW, and if you're concerned about performance in resolution, then just scale the aspect ratio to 4:1 and run at 960x600 res, it'll be fine for even Crysis.

Yeah I just got it today and put it together with my dad. It's working really well even though I would like the side panel fan to be a little lighter and the temps to be in Fahrenheit. but my power supply and the thick sides make it nice and silent. Got any questions?

You can't change your temp to Fahrenheit. You are better off with it Celsius anyway, any reference you will find on the web will be in celsius, there is no need for farenheight. An idea to make your case brighter, would be to replace the rear exhaust fan (the black one) with one that has blue LED's. You can look at my updated modified system in my description to see that. Everybody gets bad reviews, and iBuypower definitely has a few of them. But if you think about it, people are way more likely to leave a bad review than a good one... In other words there are a lot more bad reviews out there than good ones. But that doesnt mean there arent thousands of satisfied customers. I haven't had any need to contact customer service. So from my personal experience I highly recommend them. You could do some further research to be sure though. =]
