ok im just tryna see if any one know the real cooking of pad thai?? the way i do it at my job where i work in the saute line just bearly started there if u must know.. the way we do it is:
marinated chicken, rice noodles, pad thai sauce, peanuts, bean sprouts, snow peas, shallots, garlic, and last is cilantro.. need another way to make it??? any good advise would be great.. thanks.
as far as i know this is the most legit way to do it. i didn't learn in a school or in a kitchen, i was taught by a thai lady in an open air kitchen on a beach, on Koh Lanta in Thailand.
Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)
What is americanized pad thai? I live in a place near an asian town so maybe I'm underexposed to american pad thai. How could something this simple be changed? This funniest antidote about fish sauce, I saw a lady teaching how to make pt and she said make sure you drive safely bringing home fish sauce, it break, you total car.
...... vlogramen made it waaayyyyy different than u.. he jsut mixed fried egg with the noodles... and i think his is better coz he is asian.. and so am i.. not being racist or being offensive.. but jst saying maybe vlogramen's recipe is the original?
Hey Jack there are alot of different ways to cook this but I have found this to be the all time best recipe EVER! It was delish and the way you said different substitutes really helped me out since I live in the US. If I couldnt find the original I still found the suggestions you offered. Great Job now come out with some more of these foreign dishes to help us americans. Also your pretty f.ing sexy..I will be looking you up. If I can I would like to request your way of cooking srimp fried rice.
Welcome back, Jack! Great video, am definitely going to make this again! I also like the kitchen, it's beautiful. Did you get a new place?? Thanks for posting, great job!
alot of the asian countries put sugar in their dishes. I've noticed americans use only salt and pepper.. but ever since I was little i remember using salt, sugar, pepper, and some other asian stuff hehe.. anyways cool video and how was thailand?!
im soo glad you're cooking for us again jack!! good to see you back. and i soo agree with you a lot of ethnic foods that we have here in america are americanized versions made to suit the white pallet. i know cuz i see a lot of "chinese" food and im chinese.

What was the song you used in the background? I really liked it. I kept watching it because I wanted to keep listening to the song.

Question?.... Is there a reason for the green onions being long? or is that a preference?
