i love how real the creators of lost make these things look! i remember watching one about the dahrma initiative a while ago and i had to look up info on the clip because i didnt actually believe it was the same dahrma from the tv show! so real!!!!

if you look carefully, you can see how the imagery, stills, and pictures were not inteneded for an CRT style screen. if it were, everything would be cropped differently to fit wide screen t.v.'s. very creative though, the wacky music freaked me out like it did when i used to watch "in search of"

The Losties travelled back to 1977, so this episode would be just around the corner in the making. It is a set-up for getting part of the backstory out. Dharma collected scientists and people with "special talents" to work in a secret location. They told the scientists it was for research and advancement of society, but the heads of the D.I. knew the real mission. There are multiple groups all working against (and sometimes with) one another to achieve something beyond our understanding.

This clip looks real,I don't rember ever seeing in on TV back in the 1980's,this show looked like a updated version of the old 1970's In Search of show that Leonard Nimoy narrated,it delt with various topices,such as UFOS,Bigfoot Sightings,Lockness Monster,etc,the radio show Coast to Coast does that stuff on a nightly basis.

I just did a Google Search on this and there're all fake believe,I can't believe I fell for it,I saw every show from the 1980's Tales of the Gold Monkey,The Insiders,Probe,Automan and have no recollection of this show no wonder I work at a Gas Station.

each webisode is released on a date to coincide with one of the numbers..4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and obviously they couldnt do 42.

like this one was released on the 23/7/09, the next one on the 4/8/09 etc etc...

I can imagine that these are new webisodes created to arouse the LOST fans about the new season, but its doesnt say that anywhere, all it says that it was aired during the 80s and it had short lived.

This is haunting me so bad that I need for sure that this thing isn't real, I know its a stupid question, but please someone answer me.

ARG is alternative reality game. Lost has done several of these, one of them being The Lost Experience, which gave a ton of background on Dharma and how it got started.

These are webisodes, posted by ABC.  They're connected to the Lost website, and they're being released as five segments each month leading up to the last season.

So no, it's not real.
