Tenants refuse to leave after like a year now. not paying for over 6 months. Just visted house to see if there still living there... the place is a mess. Bins outside blocking the doors smells like crap. They not left yet and yes they have kids like yours....

Gosh just realised I live about 20 minutes away from Bulwell. Not suprised if these are the same people in that case! I was later told by someone that they've been thru this 4 times already...I was told this when problems started to show! Like they do this sorta stuff for a living!

Got court date on tuesday so Hopefully the judge gets them to Pack up and leave. When they do leave I'm considering reporting them to benifiet fraud.. I have proof!

Good god thats disgusting! I always respect the place Im in and have improved the garden at the place Im in, but my landlords odd though, he installed a$2,000 reverse cycle aircon in the kids room, but wont fix leaking taps properly that is damaging the cuboards (plumber says pipes need to be replaced) and other major faults, ie a leaking spot in the roof that water comes through when the rain is heavy and mold on the roof &walls in that room, nuttjob...glad to be moving in 2months, goodluck btw

I only rent to people that "have a future" in a higher income bracket. The house has a $450,000 US dollar price tag. Well, at least these LOOSERS don't have their stuff anymore. Just curious, how much of a security deposit did they leave? Also, how long did it take from the time they caused problems till the time you finally, finally got them out for good? It looks like they are still living there with all those things? Can you cut the power and water during eviction?

Okay as a landlord did you ever once inspect the house? If you give 24 hors notice they have to let you in -- face it you did not do your job and got what you asked for.

I inspect every 6 weeks - minimum - if they dont like me looking inside there house with my video cam rolling move out.

To the commeter below, i rented my house out and i bloody wish i got a pay cheque! The tenant didnt pay for 6 months but refuses to leave and then trashed the house! Hes also allowed bak into the house because of tenants rights! Landlords have zero rights in the uk. Im still trying to kick him out and im about to lose my house because the mortgage isnt getting paid. Its not all rosy! And i would love to go check on my house but i live in canada so its a bit difficult.

There's always an excuse, but it's no reason to allow a property become that bad, especially when you put children in the equation.

It's not like the rest of the house is fine, apart from some boarded up windows and damp stains. The house was a mess.

trouble is, pre-used furniture is usually only worth 1/100th of its value when you sell it. drywall to fix that one wall, if you hire it out, will cost at least $900. if you do it yourself, count on at least 2-3 8 hour days. windows run about $125/piece.
