That is only English with some other words. What a curious stammer it is . Let is be. So nobody can learn EWe. Oh, I lol, I am a German language teacher. come to my facebook page.

  • Wayzoh! Akpe!

  • pointless language

  • Thanks for the video. I used to live in Lomé and traveled some through Ghana. This video makes me homesick for Africa. Like you said, some may critic your pronunciation but most people I met were very appreciative that a Yovo would attempt to speak their language.

We know you will return again some day in the future and we wish you a great journey through life. Blessings to you and all your traveling companions.

  • @SWilson510 thanks i am planning on going back with about 12 other people from our churh thanks again and God bless

  • is so funny to hear the white man speak ewe. But they are mixing the dialect. they are saying some words in togolese and some works in aglo. anyway, well done

  • I think this would be a bit more helpful with only one of them speaking at the same time so you could hear a native speaker more clearly rather than having a non-native try to clear it up.

  • @bmh4d0k3n definitley

  • ohhh this brings back the memories of being in ghana. the kids always scream yavu.(idk how to spell it)

  • This is one of the best tutorials I've seen on line. Simple and efficient!! Looking for more in depth tutorials from you.

  • This is a Togolese version of Ewe, spoken by people in Ghana. The Ewe learning materials I found on the Internet helped me get started, by my friends here in the video all laughed at me and asked where I learned to speak "Volta" (poorly!). Ewe is spoken in the Volta Region of Ghana and in southern Togo, but there are different dialects. While noticeable, most people Ewe people can understand the different dialects. Apparently the Togolese people will refer to the Ghanaian dialect as "Volta".

  • their ewe is so different frm the one i kno. which town r their frm?

haha the yevu has a very english pronouncement, why didnt the locals talk more?

  • Steve how come towards the end when you ask how much the water is and they guy in the middle replies 5 pesewas you 'correct' him and say "you mean 500". Water sachets do cost 5 don't they?

When I was in Ghana many people would try and use the old money system, but were you correcting him incorrectly? lol

  • i went to the link, it doesnt work anymore

  • when you cut-and-paste the link, there may be a '%20' that gets inserted into the web address. Be sure to delete those characters so the address reads properly.
