Commonly called "three legged downdog" in my circle of yogi friends, try lowering airborne leg to straighten until you get better proficient hip flexibility, otherwise jack it up high *like mine bent also in poor form!* but i only worry about inner alignment, not outer *sorry!

  • amazing

  • Your balance is awesome. :)

  • @songofserenity

I saw your contortion light stretching video that had some awesome stretching technique using the wall that look like could help me too!

Thanks for posting words of encouragement!

  • @NelsonYogaInversions I'm really glad to hear that and thank YOU for inspiring me. :)

  • @essentialyoga

Thanks, I am mostly loving the extra "gravity assist" weights provide.

  • You make good use of those weights! At x2 speed those supermans actually make you look a bit like superman about to fly off...!

Those weighted splits in the air are absolutely awesome. Amazing control and great flexibility. The weights are tweaking that little extra out of your hammies too!

The rotator cuff exercise looked like a new martial art....

Wonderful job on the bird of paradise. That looks so difficult.

    10 out of 10 overall. :-)

  • @rolandsc

Maintaining healthy rotator cuffs is critical for me- have chronic issues with them & is a simple exercise to do like clockwork, same for the calf stretch for achilles I do daily as well.

Oftentimes the more difficult poses look easy to do & visa versa. Glad I have a few "tricks" can do that are NOT really so difficult but look impressive!

Wow, impressed by a 10 rating from you Roland!

    so

what was my degree of difficulty rating please? !

  • @NelsonYogaInversions I'm afraid that I'm not best placed to judge degree of difficulty. Your moves are mainly well beyond my range of possibilities!

Getting more technical, would difficulty mean flexibility or control or strength or balance or a combination?

Lets just go with the gut feel rating of "that was a blooming good vid, gal!" with a great combination of all of the above IMHO.

  • @rolandsc

My take was overall presentation considering variables like...

form, function, alignment , number of advanced poses individually or in combination, transitions between poses, steadiness, amplitude & fluidity, commanding audience's attention? production etc etc

Subjective calls by the "judges" since they are ultimately the ones who will either return to channel or move on.

I would self rate this performance 8 overall, room for improvement with attitude & gratitude!
