I'm glad to see that people are still interested in Ruth Stout's permanent mulch system. She wrote books and articles with titles like "Gardening Without Work--for The Aging, The Busy, and The Indolent" and "I Garden from My Couch," which convey the sense that gardening doesn't have to be back-breaking drudgery. She lived into her 90's, and as far as I know she may have gardened up to the end. Her home-grown wisdom and infectious humor really come through her books. Keep up the good work!

Very cute video - love it. Just like Ruth Stouts books. Love mulching too. Barely need to water - after 5 days my soil is still moist.
