Wow, I had this happen like 20 years ago when the game was new. Never saw the glitch again until just now O_O.

i did this a couple of times back in the day...i just remember it happened when i had too much going on in the screen at once...like too many bombs or something and the screen slowing down and getting jittery. havent been able to do it since.

This happened to me a long time ago back in the day and was simply amazed. Though things like that really did make my day when playing video games over and over again as a kid.

I like how when you killed one, the other one stayed around until the door appeared, and then transformed into a red blob of pixels and then vaporized. I picture him screaming, "NOOOO!" as he collapses in on himself and disappears into nothingness.

Something similiar happened to me one time, I was heading done one of those ladders in World 2 when I suddenly found myself in Mouser's room oO.

I remember this glitch. I used to love when it would happen cuz as a kid I didn't understand it, but it sure was more intense having to fight two Mousers instead of one!

Oh man! Even if you trigger this glitch, you still only have to beat one Mouser to move on? XD? I was hoping the second Mouser would have to die too, or would like, be able to keep attacking even after the door appeared. Now that would be funny.
