  • what software did you use to make it?

    Great job!

  • Final Cut Pro (Apple). It's a very straightforward system. See notes above re music and process. Music is crucial. I'm sure a capable editor on AVID or Premiere could do the same thing. Have fun.

  • you have great taste in music! i have all those on my ipod...this was so cute! good job.

  • 3:01 = gr8 pic!

u were rly cute as a young girl

    :D

  • No problem. Here are the songs. Most were edited to length (seamlessly).

    1. Gracie - Ben Folds

    2. 1234 Tell Me That You Love Me More - Feist

    3. Mouthwash - Kate Nash

    4. Best Friend - Queen

    5. Sweet Pea - Amos Lee

    6. Better When We're Together - Jack Johnson

You'll see my comment above about the process. Have fun.

  • I love your video. Can you tell me the names of the songs and the artists.

  • The last song is by Jack Johnson, called "Better Together" and the video was cut using Final Cut Pro.

  • Thank you soooo much. I appreciate the info! I have the adobe premiere elements....any idea how it will perform compared to final cut? Thanks.

  • Premiere is a good, reliable, editing tool. There are probably a number of tutorials available (for free) online - search for them. Choose a song for each segment (baby/little kid/family & family friends/bigger kids & friends/family recap and laydown the music first. Separate the songs with sound bites if you like. I also like the opening song, "Gracie Girl" by Ben Folds. Watch Coby's video (also at Biggorillaman) - it's all Randy Newman songs - same formula.

  • Thanks for the helpful hints! Truly appreciate!

  • getting ideas for songs from youtube and came across this video...LOVED the very last song...could you please tell me the artist? What an amazing job...I'm sure there wasnt' a dry eye in the room. So I must also ask...what program did you use? I'll be making my daughter's video soon....just curious!
