I'm a Pastor's Kids so my whole life I got "oh she will be like the rest of them and rebel". After a while it got the best of me & i gave in cause it was what i was expected to do any ways. But I could never understand why i didn't do what my friends did even when I tried. I realize after that it was God keeping me even when I wasn't trying hard to keep him. Now I stand against that

I grew up in the church...Born on the pew as they say! The problem came in when I got good at being a church member never knowing I had a need for a personal relationship with Christ. The turning point came in 97 when me and my brothers were on our way back from a party in Alabama. My Oldest brother fell asleep at the wheel and the jeep we were in flipped over 5 times and we landed in a ditch. By the Grace of God we all escaped with nothing but scratches! Ever scene that day I knew God was real!

I grew up in the church but I never expected to be where I am today. If it had not been for the Lord who was on my side, I would not be here. The enemy wanted to take my life by suicide but God intervened and saved my life. My church Continued Praise Cathedral has played a major part in my growth spiritually. God appointed me as the youth pastor and now I get the opportunity to witness to them and in the process, bring them to Christ. I pray that God will raise us up to go and take Houston. Yes!

In prison I realized that I wanted to use my gifts to glorify God, but first He had to fix some issues .....drug addiction, a seriously lewd perverse sexual orientation that experimented w/ men and women alike, a guilty shame that came from being molested as a young man multiple times,and other things including freedome from behind bars all of which GOD DID! I grew up in the church. A number of things occurred in my life. My Mom was hooked on drugs and exposed that she went to jail when I was twelve. She said to my sister and I with my baby brother in hand. I went to my room and began to cry. months went by and I realized that she was on it again....My father had to separate from her for the safety of his kids. I contemplated suicide thinking my mother just didn't want me but understanding that greater is he that is in me, that option was canceled

I was addicted to crystal meth and homeless for years, I was a gang member, did drugs, sold drugs, lived for myself. I did heinous things no person should ever do, and finally ended up in jail. I cried out to God and told Him I didn't want to bring shame on His name anymore. I went to a discipleship program at the local rescue mission and got delivered from the unrepentant sins. Today I have a job, a wife, four kids, and most importantly a relationship with God. Plus I rap for Him, Hallelujah!

I grew up in a Christian family and accepted Christ as a young child. In my teenage years and later I moved quite a lot. That was also around the time I got serious about God. I've had my struggles, and still do, but I earnestly seek to know God more. Right now I am seeking to start a tutoring center targeted for low-income families in Vietnam. I hope to raise their standard of living, and I pray that they may know the true life I have in Christ.

I got saved a long time back when I was a kid, but I didn't start living for God until a few years back, and ever since my life which was going downhill has changed for the better. Also, very recently, God just gave me victory over the spirit of fear; God told me to take authority and I got set free.
