Top Gear is great because they are realistic and objective about cars.... we all might hate the truth... But drive a car with a stiff gearbox and truck like clutch all day with a close ratio gearbox and you will learn to dislike your purchase. Course most Lambos are only driven short distances. The Petrol thing alarms me though.... Check youtube for Lambo and fire and seems to be quite common really considering the low production numbers.. But it sounds amazing
I will always love this car....But! I would never own an actual Lambo. I was given the opportunity to drive one it was enough for me. I owned a fiero and it was much more comfortable even for a big guy and with the emergence of the stretched frame to give proper wheel base, certain companies created spot on Lambo clones but with AC, a body you could easily fix and greater comfort reliability and mileage. Look some up I'll soon be getting mine! But i still cherish my one drive.
i'm sure James May were already know about that..he just want to tell us that a supercar is not as practical as we might think...he's not complaining..he told us what it feels like to be in a Countach...
As far as impact, few cars can match the countach. The Ferrari looks conservative next to it. I've driven a Countach, and every negative thing about it is true. I'm 5'6" and it was a tight fit! The engine is the best part of the car: seamless endless power surge, beautiful noise. The doors have a habit of failing, crashing down on you. The guy who owned the car told me it was'nt a matter of IF you got stranded, but when. He did, 8 times in 700 miles, then he sold it. Still, what a car!
My friend Garry has one of these a Countach it is sick teh noise pf the exhaust the interior is nice the doors its just AMAZING

I jumped in an LP 400 once and everything was right where you would want it,
I mean it felt like everything was made to order,
clutch was progressive, and gear lever was a little stiff, but felt nice,
Seat's were comfy for me,and dash was all laid out to be able to see everything,
It had a nice crafted feel to it,

Near the end of the video:
"The seat is crippling."
The controls are murderous."
Im too hot."
Im deaf."
He left out that he's gay.
If he wants quiet and comfort, then he should drive a Camery.
This is like complaining that a boxing match is too violent.
The car was built for speed, handling (not even discussed in this video), and looks.
You're supposed to take the car out and tear up the roads after you find your balls.
