hydroponic set up, few weeks in! (Maroc x Afghan)

If you ever read this, how did the Moroc x Afghan work out indoor?

I have a pack but have been apprehensive about a full run indoors, as it is billed as more of an outdoor strain, even though thats just more bs really, still puts me off!

I popped one a while ago, and got a big sativa male, lovely plant, am keeping him in my mum room until i get a chance to dust something with him, he strikes me as a beast of a stud plant.

That looks like a really great setup since I could see that the cannabis plants are growing very healthy. I just wish that the video is a bit longer and that there was a description about the setup and the different aspects that made those cannabis plants thrive well.

They look a bit stretched imo,all good but you get seedlings with twice the nodes in half the height but thats the quickness of clones,gotta love it but ive never seen a better plant than one thats been grown from seed only in hydro.Harder than youd think,they die so easy when young in rockwool,well mine do anyway

That's unfortunate, great setup, too bad it's not moroc X afghan, MXA has very thin sativa like leaves, it's one of my main strains i grow (direct from nirvana, no other breeding has been done) every other picture on the internet confirms this, dude, you got played. It's probably just fine herb, but it's not MXA. Your stretch worries me, if you have flourescents (which it kinda looks like) you should lower those fuckers to about 2 inches from the tops of the plants, and bend those ladies over.

If you knew what you were talking about then you would know the rockwool doesn't need to be covered in the growing room, but once it has been moved into the budding room is when you need to cover it with hydroton expanded clay rocks.

i have had problem doing hydro with ghe flora 3 part nutrients. Are the standard application rates to weak for this stuff. I havn't got a ppm eccc meter. I haven't bothered checking ph at all ever just changed the nutirents weekly. MY leaves have started turning brown and dry at the tips and various locations. what could this be. I have herd the one part nutirents have produced morew reliable results as they are mixed profesionally and hoem equipment is too costy to mis well. help me

Keeping the lights too close to the plants.

Not watering the plants with DISTILLED water.

Not enough nutrients mixed into the water.

make your self a charcoal filter cheaper than buying one,go to your pet store and get you some activated carbon (which is like pumice material which is black,it has several tiny holes in it and thats where the stinky molecules will stick when you pass the air over it)a simple way is to get 2 furnice filters ,build you and box place the furnice filters in something that holds them 1-2 inchs apart and fill between them with the expanded carbon then pull air from one side to the other(need fan)

i dont know if thats making any sense ,the box has the filters held inside with a exhaust port on one side and an intake on the other side ,you pull the air across the filter pad you made inside the box ,its important to have adequate air space inside the box on the intake side as well as the exhaust side so the air is able to pull throught the entire filter area evenly without huge restriction,im not sure if this make sense???/

that aint no hydroponic setup drip feed systems suck sell it on ebay and get a NFT tray or something usefull loss the foil and get some mylar your plant will do beter hope you get some good yeilds man

AND THE ONLY DIFFRENCE BE TWEEN MAYLAR IS ITS THICKER AND DOSENT KRINKLE AND CREATE HOTSPOTS, YOU CAN PREVENT THAT WITH FOIL JUST SPREAD IT TIGHT TO REDUCE KRINKLES.... your doin fine and those plants look mighty healthy, my drip feed system was put together with shit i found around the house in 2 hours minus the stones, just goes to show anyone can do this if they get creative

try going run to waist with your water not recycling drip feed is shit go 1 minute every 3 hours for the watering or better again throw the whole system away and start again

Oh get the fans going! and spread spider mites and anything else that rode in on your clothes a grand opportunity to spread around the crop.

Get a single squirrel cage fan to bring in fresh air and blow in one direction across your plants, on the other side use a large sheet of plastic covered plywood with oil applied via paint brush , now anything flying fluttering around your room is done when it gets smacked into the oil.
