I saw Silverhead open for "The New Your Dolls" I had front row center seats at the Santa Monica Civic. It was 1974 It was the best concert I ever saw. Sliverhead had a live Tiger on stage, I felt bad for the Tiger and his hearing, the show was loud and Great! Those were the Great old days, boy do I miss them, it was pre-MTV days. Once MTV came on the tv, that was the day live music died. The NY Dolls were great also..
I wore the grooves of this LP out....omg did i love and adore them...and saw them in a line up show with NYDOLLS, IGGY and a few otheres...Hollywood Palladium...ahhhh life in hollyweird int the Glitter days...i loved my life...
Saw them at the Whisky MANY times, used to know their drummer Pete, great guy.

they were launched like glam-rock band
with the singer dressed like alice cooper or bowie
but theyy were instead a traditional rock'n'roll band like the stones the faces or humble pie...
but theyy were not bad

very good slide playing. Makes it stand out a bit from other sort of rock boogie blues.
