Its actually kind of sad that the only interesting 'science' related media can be found on youtube videos like this. TV channels like the discovery channel ect. are appealing only to the lowest denominator in terms of education, half their shows aren't even 'science' or 'discovery' related, even good old mythbusters is seeming to be dumbed down.

I personally blame the negative correlation between literacy rates and fertility, but still have no (appropriate) solution to the problem.
