This story is extremely distrurbing. I'm also shocked at how the board of people asking questions don't seem to take any issue with the officer's story. You'd think they would be a little more critical when someone was killed on site. I would have asked the officer why they didn't just allow him to sit in the road in the first place.

These men got off scott free for this, courtesy of the US "justice" system. Officer Bergin was later arrested for drunken driving and domestic violence while he attempted to break into his ex-girlfriend's house in the night. He STILL wasn't fired. A year later, he was finally fired after being arrested AGAIN for sexual misconduct and corruption on the job. Officer Willard is still carrying a badge and a gun, also committing continuing atrocities.

It was later found that this was probably from some other noise. Regardless of what it was, though, someone called 911 PTA with info that shots had been fired. There was also other dispatch info that indicated the scene was not safe. What's the number one thing you were taught in medic school?

The great sadness of mental illness is the lack of education and the fear of the rest of our society.
