For some reason I did everything right but some stuff is still in Engish and the game freezes at some points in aquas story altho I have yet to play it after fixing my errors....any suggestions if this happens again???
I have a 2GB memory stick, when i try to run the decrypter i get 0kb files, So what do i do? am i screwed? i downloaded the already patched file and i get a black screen when i try to start the game, that didnt work for me so i downloaded a 1.0.3 Khbbsfm game and it started but after the opening and the intro the screen stays black and reads as a cutscene but when i skip it it freezes... I really wanna play this game, ive been trying and trying but nothing works can someone help?
@Keytotruth Yeah i did that already, i downloaded the one in the link and the screen stays black when i try to run it, I have 5.50 prom-4 But i got my hands on a JAP untouched iso and patched it my self, it works now. How ever it freezes as ven when i have to hit the hanging chain in the begining of the game, right when i start a new game, after the third hit in the combo the game freezes. any idea why?
.. to those who are having trouble with the touched ISO (patch for all CFW) rename the EBOOT.BIN the one from the EXTRA folder with EBOOT.OLD and replace the EBOOT.OLD from your old ISO, that should solve the black screen issue :)
3-Go to your PSP's menu and run the dnas_decrypter. Don't panic, the screen should stay black for like 10 minutes. If it doesn't stay black for a while and you get 0kb files, it means you didn't have enough space in your MS to decrypt them. How do you that?

@Keytotruth Just to let you know, there are still some translations error... if you're still up for it. The Command Boards amount point is supposed to be GP... but you translated it as BP, also most theatre subtitles weren't even synch with what they talk. That's all for now.

@RempitKamikaze What? Well, I never made them. It's just not possible unless someone fully cracks the game. It's also one of the reasons why the game is not 100% translated ( I mean the game being cracked ). And sure, if the mod was possible Yosh could just add them to his program.

@RempitKamikaze I think someone trolled you, lol. I've never made such mod. I said I was working on it, but it's not like I never got it working. It's impossible to make those mods due to size restrictions and lack of animations.
@RempitKamikaze Ahhhhhh, that's what you meant. The first two are just cutscenes with modified "resources". I just told the game to load diferent files from the event files. It has nothing to do with "playing".
And the last one, I'm not playing as neither of them, they are CPU controlled and used a Camera modifier to make the camera focus on those characters. In that fight Aqua is in the battlefield, she is just invisible.
Does anyone experiencing bugs in the Reports > Character Files? Dude... because on my Terra, everytime when I tried to view No Heart I'll keep getting a game crash. As for Aqua... even after I've beaten No Heart, he didn't appear in Character Files at all. All in all, Ventus' Character Files on No Heart is fine... other than that there're still a few more translations fail like I've said in my previous reply.
@RempitKamikaze The No Heart freeze is not due to my patch, it's a game problem. I tried with my official UMD and it crashes too. You have to change your Command Finisher with Terra and it'll work.
Also, I didn't see your previous reply, but I already mentioned the game is not 100% translated. A few Xehanort Reports are not translated and the worlds' stories aren't translated either.
@Keytotruth What about Aqua's problem? What's the answer to it?? BTW... my previous reply was about some of the Ice Cream ingredients' name translated wrong and the Mirage Arena's final battle shouldn't be named as "Dark Machinations", it should be "Foresight unto Darkness". If you're not sure what're their correct names, just use Wiki's Wikia... I use it everytime.

@KenXKeyblade To be honest, I really don't care much about the Story & Xehanort's Reports in Reports... because I've red them during my play on KH: BbS [US]. But... on the other hand, if possible I would like to see the one I've posted in those link to be implemented. Example would be like the "Rocket Lamune" (12 alphabets)... compare to "Fizzy Tizzy" (10 alphabets), the RL has more alphabets. So, I'm pretty sure some of it is possible... all I'm asking is to correct the ones which are possible.

I'm not gonna start all over again every time a new translation patch is released, damn... never thought something like this could happen.
@KenXKeyblade That has nothing to do with my translation, it probably has to do with you updating your custom firmware from a really old version. Since 6.20 the save system the PSP uses changed drastically, so, saves made in 5.00 or 5.50 won't work on 6.20 or higher. There is a solution though, it's named MagicSave.
@KenXKeyblade Okay, I tried finish one character story again. And it worked. I'm not sure the System Data work for other 2 characters stories, though.

I'm happy to say I finally have this working. I updated my cfw from 5.00 M33-6 (which played Birth by Sleep, but not the Final Mix) to 5.50 Gen D full (which I couldn't get to play Birth by Sleep Final Mix even with Prometheus)... and then on up to 6.39 ME v2 (which now works great!). So I recommend everyone still have problems getting Final Mix itself to play (regardless of the translation patch) to just update their firmware.
Can anyone help me? I've never done this before. When I finish the pre-patched download, what exactly do I do? Do I need another program to put in in the PSP? Someone help please =/
Can someone help me with this? I've patched the game fine but when I play there are some noticeable text glitches (going off a window, things like '--X' at the end of subtitles), but the Menu labels are blank which makes it quite hard to play. I'm wondering if theres something I need to do to fix this?
@MonkeyCourier Unfortunatelly I'm not sure what may cause everyone's problems. The best thing you can do is download the already patched ISO I provide in the video's description.

Okay, I need help bad! I've tried several times to put the game on my PSP and it keeps saying it's a corrupted file! I have custom firmware (6.39 Pro B8), so I don't see why it's giving me all of the trouble! Plz help me, I'm desperate!
patch works, but the iso i'm using won't let me skip the tutorial with out crashin, and when i do play the tutorial, it crashes after i start the tutorial on the shotlock command. could you kindly upload a save data on the tutorial part, right before it let's you choose which character to play as.
Got it working by using prometheus loader with 5.00 m33-6, but after finishing Terra's story and trying to start a new game, it doesn't recognize that I have any save data.

@GamerPlayMaster Yeah I did everything at the top but what I think happened with me was that I most likely missed a part in the ISO so I'm trying to do it again.
@JTD95 I'm using the prometheus patched rom... Some unspecific parts of the tut would be which EBOOT to patch... Also, not patching at all gets the game working but menus crash the game.

I've tried three isos and patched them all. They all won't won't load when I press play. All I get is a black screen and my PSP shuts down. What should I do?
I can't seem to get BBSFM to run after I patch+translate it, though a clean iso runs perfectly. My PSP turns off just after selecting the iso through Prometheus. I'm running Hen 6.31 PRO on 6.31 OFW. Any idea what's going on? I've been searching around, but I can't find info on it. Also, the patched+translated iso actually runs if I don't replace the eboot.bin file in the iso, but then the rest of the game doesn't load up once you get past the first few cutscenes.
@XD4Lifeington first of all, what do you mean what does the iso need to be? THERE IS NO TYPE. IT GOES ON YOUR MEMORY STICK. second, no one here seems to have figured out what eboot to patch. Maybe both, we don't know. Third, you decompile the iso, put BBS0/1/2/3 into the root of your memory stick, and run dnas_decrypter.
@Heartless10000 I wouldn't recommend it, you might lose some pieces while taking it apart. I say this from experience of taking apart various nintendo products.
Which EBOOT.BIN do we switch the EBOOT.BIN in the EXTRA folder with? the one thats in the SYSDIR folder or the UPDATE folder in the SYSDIR folder? Because when I switch it with the one in the SYSDIR, it runs but it goes to a black screan

Dude... how can this be final at all, there're some translations still fail. Some of the Ice Cream ingredients' name still not correct and so as the Mirage Arena's final battle, supposed to be "Foresight unto Darkness"... pretty sure there're still a few more.

I'm happy to say I finally have this working. I updated my cfw from 5.00 M33-6 (which played Birth by Sleep, but not the Final Mix) to 5.50 Gen D full (which I couldn't get to play Birth by Sleep Final Mix even with Prometheus)... and then on up to 6.39 ME v2 (which now works great!). So I recommend everyone still have problems getting Final Mix itself to play (regardless of the translation patch) to just update their firmware.

Can someone help me with this? I've patched the game fine but when I play there are some noticeable text glitches (going off a window, things like '--X' at the end of subtitles), but the Menu labels are blank which makes it quite hard to play. I'm wondering if theres something I need to do to fix this?

patch works, but the iso i'm using won't let me skip the tutorial with out crashin, and when i do play the tutorial, it crashes after i start the tutorial on the shotlock command. could you kindly upload a save data on the tutorial part, right before it let's you choose which character to play as.

I can't seem to get BBSFM to run after I patch+translate it, though a clean iso runs perfectly. My PSP turns off just after selecting the iso through Prometheus. I'm running Hen 6.31 PRO on 6.31 OFW. Any idea what's going on? I've been searching around, but I can't find info on it. Also, the patched+translated iso actually runs if I don't replace the eboot.bin file in the iso, but then the rest of the game doesn't load up once you get past the first few cutscenes.

@XD4Lifeington first of all, what do you mean what does the iso need to be? THERE IS NO TYPE. IT GOES ON YOUR MEMORY STICK. second, no one here seems to have figured out what eboot to patch. Maybe both, we don't know. Third, you decompile the iso, put BBS0/1/2/3 into the root of your memory stick, and run dnas_decrypter.

Which EBOOT.BIN do we switch the EBOOT.BIN in the EXTRA folder with? the one thats in the SYSDIR folder or the UPDATE folder in the SYSDIR folder? Because when I switch it with the one in the SYSDIR, it runs but it goes to a black screan
