That time, when games had crappy graphics compared to now, maps were mostly indoors or limited and when UT came out, you started a game, it finished loading and you saw this with that music... and you played on a map, where you are in vast space and can see earth orbiting around you. This was so epic.

Amazing the kind of game we had back then. UT has zillions of maps, small, medium, and big, along with different maps for different game types, endless amounts of fun. What do we get 12 years later from Epic? GoW3, with only 10 tiny maps that are the same for every gametype, and the expectation to rip us off by selling us overpriced maps in DLC packs. A shame that gaming is one of the few industries that seems to be putting out more inferior products as time goes on.

I wish Epic Games would put aside Gears to focus again on Unreal. I felt UT 3 was lacking..they should just re-make the 99 with improved graphics (Hell even the same music with minor re-mastering) I was getting annoyed that UT 3 would cocktease me with only a few seconds of the original music. They should also eliminate the roided out characters with exaggerated power armor that consumes their entire body and makes them look like dwarfs. :/ Ahhhh FUCK IT. *goes to play UT 99*
