Rather funny that in most video game/movie .. Hades's portrayed has a satanic .. Ugly crazy monster .. Yet in greek myth ..He's portrayed has a rather calm and passive (and quite charming)god but he just control the underworld after both he and his 2 brother defeated the titans..

They completely re-designed Hades after God of War (1).

In that game he was tall, athletic and very "devil-like" if you can sum it up that way.

As of GoW2 he became short, stubby and fat, with seemingly scarred and rotten flesh and all those chains/spikes. That's besides the fact that he doesn't have a face anymore.

I cant say that I prefer either design, they are both cool in their own way, but the difference is just striking.

None of the other Gods were changed nearly as much.
