My friends told me I do those sound while i'm having a seizure, I also have temporal love epilepsy. Could you drink alcohol? Could you sleep a few hours? I can't. I'm 18 and I was diagnosticated at the age of 13, I get scared sometimes when i'm in a dance club for example, i'm affraid of having seizures but not for me, because i'm unconscious during it, i'm affraid because my family is sad when i have one

@noeluas3 tough situation at your age,don't want to feel left out and just go and drink coz it's a new thing when ur 18 in UK.I did drink alcohol when i was 18+ to be with the crowd but i'm 29 now and don't have that peer pressure on me.I could sleep as in this vid was durin my sleep,it could happen anytime.I'm sure u must be feeling the pressure of not driving too.Hope medication can help u so u don't have to go through surgery like i did.Tough life with epilepsy

I had my firs siezure 5 months ago at the age of 29 While at work and my friends told me that my snoring was incredible loud but I thought that was odd because I was wide awake before the siezure. I had 7 more while waiting on my nuroligt appointment the EKG test showed an abnormality on the left tempral lobe of my brain not exactly sure what that means but I'm on topaz and so far I haunt had a siezure since I been on it but I got to admit it I'm hella scared I will have another one

Tempral Lobe Epilepsy is common type which is difficult to fully control with medication.

EEG test is to detect the location on the Brain where the Seizures are occuring from.I know how you feel about it.Hope it can be controled sooner rather than later.Flashing lights won't effect you,that occurs with Epilepsy on the occipital lobe.You may start feeling depressed,stressed,angry the longer it goes with no progress.

Took 17 YRS to stop my seizures.Wish U all best,not easy condition to live with

@sheldonhholmes Zeppra,Lamotrigine,clobazam,Zo­nisimide,Epilim,,Tegretol,Gaba­pentin,Toprimate are all anti-epliepsy medications with various strengths/dosages i've been on and tried to contol my seizures for 17yrs but just did'nt control them.

Since 'left Transylvian selective amygdalohippocampectomy'(Neuro Surgery) 7/072010 i've had no seizures but have to remain on a 2yr trial on Lamotrigine,clobazam,Zonisimid­e.If things stay as they are i'll come off medication and will no longer have epilepsy

@donwest420 I'm not asking for peoples sympathy,care.Cheers for ur positive comment though.Life did suck for years.Just felt as if there was gonna be no way forward in my life atall.Got so bad at one time I didn't want to live anymore n tried to commiet suicide but couldn't face doing it.Surgery has changed everything for me now

never knew the noise could have from 'sleep apnea'.I hope something will workout for you coz i've experienced everything related to epilepsy.Low self-esteem,depression,stress,­lack of self-belief,no motivation.It just lasted for so long with no progress it made me feel that way.Since neurosurgery July 2010 i've had no seizures and also just feel much better,positive and confident about myself.I know my life is just going to be much better now,hope the same for you.

the noise could also may be from sleep apnea. its not too common, but it can happen. I have epilepsy myself, tonic clonic. I have had them from the age of 17 and am 22 now. my medication usually works, but I still have about 2 seizures a month. I am on Dilantin and would LOVE to find another medication that can help me.

I had epilepsy just out of nowhere when i was 11yrs just due a chemical imbalance.

Recon I made so much noise during this tonic clonic seizure because I was sleeping at that time.

Still had no seizures for 5 months now since surgery,where it would have been aprox 8 per month.Just hope it stays this way.
