Most likely a 1991-1993. It has the 3 piece spoiler. Could have been easily added but rarely do people add a 3 piece spoiler to a 1994+ Mr2

Well its because most people like or upgrade to the 94+ spoiler and if you originally have a 94+ mr2 and you add the 3 piece spoiler then you are in a sense downgrading to something in the older revision rather then keeping the newer revised spoiler. Matter of taste really.

They are the most perfect looking sports car ever to me. Compact and sleek. Low with all the lines and curves in all the right places at all the right angles. Especially in the later revisions. Nice!

I love my '93 N/A five-speed, which is roughly my tenth MR2 since 1985 but my first of this generation bodystyle. The car has original black paint which polishes to perfection, t-tops, and 17" Momo rims. NO goofy stickers, no fartcan exhaust, nothing "ricer" about it. And it turns more heads and gets more compliments than the new-to-U.S. Nissan GTR! It's happened twice recently at local gas stations, when people have drooled over my car and IGNORED the GTR at the next gas pump. Hilarious!!!

there is an mr2 specialist shop in england called rogue systems if you search it on google you'll find it. you can order the headlights from them. there about 400 quid, well worth it!

I think Toyota have really nice cars, some people won't agree with me but I could name at least 5 great cars from Toyota. Its true they dont have a sport car like the Honda s200 but they have Starlet/Glanza turbo, Corolla S and AE-86, some Celicas, the MR2's and of course The Supra.

Even lost the vision of what made their most exotic car special, and came out with the abomination that is the MR2 SPIDER OR MRS.  I call this car an MRS as they do in Japan, because this car just doesn't make the grade for me as far as being an MR2 goes. It was all wrong, and should have been killed while on the design table. MR2 was cool, but I always liked the Supra. Your photo selection was on point. The yellow 4 door was amazing. I would not quite consider that a MR2 though. It seem to take on a look and style of it's own that is far away from what the MR2 is.

Is your car a turbo? Also, hey, don't go too overboard. Your car is a beautifully preserved gem. Mine is almost like yours except for some slight modifications done by the previous owner. It does need new paint at some point as the original 18 year old paint is quite tired. Isn't it great the attention getting quality of a Ferrari without the price or headaches! Man did Toyota get this car spot on. This and the first MR2 were the best, the third was an abomination to the MR2 legacy.

I agree. Forget the NSX or Skyline, the MR2 was the first and probably most ground breaking. Up until the MR2 Japanese car companies had a reputation for making boring standard layout cars. Exotic layouts and cars in general seemed to be the business of the the Europeans only at the time. Toyota took a gamble and proved to the world, that that wasn't true. The original MR2 beat out Honda's NSX to market by a staggering 5 or 6 years. Skylines were not really even out yet. However, Toyota..

I like all of the simple, honest, beautiful stock MR2s the best, because I'm a originality freak when it comes to these beautiful machines. I liked the tune ones as well, but not as much. The close to stock look is the best. That said, I was shocked to see someones interupretation of an MR4 at 1:44. I wonder what car they used as a base for this rather interesting conversion.
