I actually got DC Universe Online for the ps3. i had to make a decision between getting DCUO or waiting for FF14. I just got DCUO because even tho its a lil more expensive the subscription fee is $15 a month u can create up to 8 characters and my brother plays to thats why DCUO was the choice for me. FF14 is going to be $12 a month but u can only create one character and if you create another character you will have to pay $24 a month. ff14 looks great tho. them graphics look beautiful
@Sleeky33 actually, you only have to pay another dollar for another character. On top of that, you can play every job in the game with just one, so why would you need to have more than that?

Get a playstaion 3, and buy uncharted 2. If you don't already know, uncharted 2 is a must have, best game of the year also got awarded best graphic and animation ever seen to date. Uncharted 2 is comic book style third person shooter which utilizes 100percent of the cell processor first game to do that. After playing it I cant look at crisis on pc compared to uncharted 2. I play Krisis on max settings and uncharted looks 10 times better, you can really see the cell add new game mechanics .
get Demon souls , it becomes much easier with a controller, you can use kb and mouse but most games dont support it, i think ff14 will,, again the from what ican tell , you would probally enjoy demon souls quite a bit, its been my favorite rpg on the ps3 as well as my favorite game on ps3, my other interest have been socom, dragon age origin, cod for nazi zombies w/ friends was fun..and currently assasins creed 2

you can play ff14 on PS3 using 1080p without any problems like MGS4 :) just go for it !!!

I'm sure you have tried it by now, but I don't think you can use a keyboard and mouse to play FPS on PS3. You can use a keyboard in FFXIV though.
