  • @CypereZe what recording tool do you use in this video ?

  • @fanzboyx Camtasia.

  • @CypereZe how do you zoom it ? and zoom out ?

  • @fanzboyx Read the manual instead of asking me, mate. I don't really have time for answering 200 questions anymore. ^^

  • this isnt great but it actually helped me a lot when i was a noob about photoshop, thanks :D

  • thanks man

  • i don't understand has 21 dislikes

  • wow... this sucks...

  • @Rebitaay Well, I guess you and this somehow got something in common then..

  • 20 PEOPLE STILL DONT KNOW HOW TO CHANGE BACKGROUND..!! HAHA IDIOTS

  • that sucks, it still remains a halo around the guy

  • @OmaR1153 I did it in 2 minutes, what did you expect?

Just wanted to show all how to change background a easy way. Just take a eraser tool lower the opacity and flow and just trim the edges, nothing difficult.

  • Thanks alot!!

  • @NothingToxicStolen Listen up Eve, no.. I just didn't call you a guy name, infact that's a girls name and your still a little girl.

  • @CypereZe magic eraser sometimes effect the picture then what should do?

  • @TheNia235 Then you can use the pen tool or lasso tool.

  • woow , perfect , makes it to use so easy

well, how can i save the image itself to my document , I saved it but it open with the program ?

  • @pary840 As an JPEG or as an Photoshop file?

  • @CypereZe , I mean , I want to save a image on my desktop and upload it to my profile, but it doesn't save with only itself , it save it with program.

( I just start to work with this program and I don't know many staaf with that )

    thanks

  • @pary840 Ah, go to "File" -> Save as, it's should be .PS format, change that to JPEG.

Then "Save" and it should just be opening with a picture viewer of any sort.

    Hope this helped.

  • that was easy

    thanks

  • Awesome. So easy and gives perfect results. Great job buddy.

  • i wouldve prefered to listen to you guide us through it rather than doof doof music but awesome tutorial cheers mate

  • @cazkeenan1982 Well, I love the song cause it's summer time now, and I love this song. But whenever I make a new tutorial, I'll do speech tutorial, tho I'm not from any english-speaking contry so it might sound a bit weird whenever I'm talking.

  • THAT WAS AWESOME, Thanks so very much for Posting

  • how can I change the background in to white?

  • @amiransari That's not a smart idéa.. If you want the background to be white and accurate you should use greenscreen. (A screen that is green).

I don't really got any good tips to make the background white.

  • dont erase yourself ...lol

  • i love it!!

    thank <3

  • At first when I heard the music in the background, I thought it could of been done without it until I watched the whole thing. Great job!

  • @nofachx I like the song, cause it gives sooooooooo many summers feelings!

  • mine doesnt let me copy/paste it like you did

  • @livvy177 Are you sure that you actually use the buttons "Ctrl+C" or "Apple+C"

when you had the picture selected?

When you've copied the picture, then paste it onto the other picture.

    "Ctrl+c" or "Appel+C".

  • @CypereZe yeah i tried everything..and i did everything you did step by step..there isnt even a copy/paste option there...then again im using CS5 maybe its different

  • wheres the magic eraser?!

  • thanks a lot : D

  • as a newbie for me this tutorial is 5stars... tnx much

  • hi!! great tutorial!!=D but i don't know how to command the eraser? what should i press so dat it will work..i tried to use select it but nothings happening when i click on the background...help me please..=)

  • the nicest way to do this is the polygon lasso tool and selecting every little part so it doesn't look all rough

  • do u how to download those eraser tools cuz mines doesn't have them?

  • Its really nice but when i use the magic eraser dos it delete my picture :)

  • thank u thank u thank u thank u very much subscribed already....

  • Ok when I tried pasting the picture on the wallpaper the picture replaced the wallpaper....help :[

  • Haha cute, I doubt it replaced the wallpaper layer.

Remember, Ctrl+t or Apple+T to transform and scale it down. And if your insecure if the background layer is gone, go to the layer pannel and lower the opacity of the layer, and you'll see the background layer. :)

  • Nice tutorial i've been looking for a long time and this is the best one.... but where do you ind those amazing pics... wabsite??? or Just lucky with googleing pics???

  • Thank you, I search on "Abstract pictures" and that'll come up.

  • Hi, whenever I do that, the magic eraser sometimes takes a few bits of the picture away, or makes it look like it has bad quality.

    Is that normal?

  • It does that due to the quality of your picture, and what kind of colors your trying to remove.

If it doesn't work good with magic erase tool, use brush tool.

  • Okay, thanks! And thanks for the quick reply! Great tutorial btw.

  • @prodiala why cant i free transform?

  • why can't i free transform?

  • Are you sure you have the first layer selected?

If you have background layer it won't work with transform tool.

  • When i click on the eraser tool, nothing happens, i dont have an option like magic brush. Can anyone help?

  • Please do send me a mail, with what version of photoshop your using and maybe if you could upload a picture meanwhile your trying to do as the tutorial say. So I can see what seem to be the problem. Thank you.

  • thanks man .. u rocks

  • fixed

  • it dont start

    what i can do???

    if i click nothing happens

  • This is the best tutorial I˙ve found..Thx!!!

  • thanks u very much ....

  • Thanks!

  • thank you very much

  • thanks

  • thnx

  • thanks man,really helped

  • thx it worked :D!!! nice vid btw

  • i have a question: when you finish how do you save the picture to be jpg format

  • Do this:

    Head up to "Files"

    Then select "Save as.."

And scroll until you see .JPEG as an alternative.

    Then "Save".

  • when you go to save it, down the bottom theres a default thats saved as a psp(photoshop) just click that and find jpg or whatever file you want to save it to...

  • I don't think if there is anything more easy than this way to change the background. credit goes to you 5/5.

  • dude is that not the doctor from scrubs

  • Yepp! It's Dr. Perry Cox!

  • Don't forget to check out my new Photoshop tutorial. You'll learn to how make vampire fangs, and brighten your teeths in the same tutorial.

    thank you so much.

    5star for this.

  • @cypereze must the pixel size be same as yours? or size doesn't matter?

  • @shocky147

    Doesn't matter.

  • I have CS4, but I've already fixed my problem, thanks for your reply anyway. :)

  • Why I don't have got LAYERS next to CHANNELS and PATHS in my photoshop?

maybe its a stupid question, but please reply! thx

  • @Alisahh17

Depends, what photoshop version do you have? I have CS4, it could be a little bit different if you use CS2.

  • Omg the best way ever, thanks.

  • could you make the background a gif?

    message me if you can..

  • @bradjesey45 Actually I don't really know the answer of that question since I don't do many animations or such in photoshop.

But could you explain what you mean with just making the background a .GIF?

  • umm thx it worked for me but, how come when i do it, the maqic eraser erases off thinqs i don;t want to be erased, (ie: hair)

  • what a song for a video haha

  • I like the song, and couldn't really careless if you didn't. It's not a speech tutorial, so just mute the sound and put your own music on.

  • No i didint mean it was a bad song or nothing this was a good video to but the song is differant haha :P

  • worst music ever, go kill yourself

  • I'm sorry if you didn't like the music.

I just thought that this music would fit the summer pretty well. :)

And no, I do not take orders from creepy cunts.

  • nice..... thanks

  • how do you add more tools to photoshop?

  • @ILOVEYANDEL09

I seriously doubt that you can add more tools than it is. If you get less tools than I have, you probably have a old version of photoshop.

I have Photoshop CS4 Extended portable version.

  • alright thank you soo much!!

uhmm and it need to be noob friendly xD

  • @fazliserin Yeah, of course!

Cause I hate when I was a newbie (I still am) when all the tutorials they went like "Then you do this and that" without showing how to do it.

  • you know like uhmm when you use it on forums..

like a picture for urself that you can edit with ur name and speciall effects

  • @fazliserin I'll look into it, can't promise anything since I'm currently busy with homework from the school. But whenever I get time I'll do a tutorial.

  • the background that ur using when ur editing the background u know,

ps: could you make a tut on how to make a signature?

  • @fazliserin Search on Google for Abyss HD wallpaper and it'll come up.

What do you mean, with a signature?

  • Is that you at the picture ?? xD Nice Anyways

  • @sanderoestberg No, the male on the picture is a actor from Scrubs. John C Mcginley if I'm not wrong.

  • bro where can i find that background??

  • @fazliserin Which one?

  • thanks ,ur frigging awsome :D

  • Ah, thx for tutorial :)

  • LOL PERRY

  • @SlamDunkThaFunkJosh

    HES AWESOME!

    Dr Cox ftw! ^_^

  • Thanx dude ! ;)

  • wow ....fail this is a bad tut theres a better way to do it than that if u do it that way specs of the original background are still there rated 1

  • @halotyler3

I´m sorry if it didn´t work out as you planned,

if your going to tell me it´s crappy, at least do it in English.

There's many way do this in photoshop, I just show the one I knew.. And this tutorial are some months old if you havn't noticed that. I've learned way better ways to do this.

  • thank you very much, sir! this is one of the things I've wanted to for so long, but i thought photoshop was complicated so i never checked it out!!

  • k

make an anotaion saying read the description box b4 commenting on the video

  • @SARUJAN5 I thought reading description before asking something was a obvious thing.

That's also why it's called description.

  • @CypereZe

ino ppl dnt do that now

some people write a freaking novel on their description.

they`re not bothered about it much :p

  • @SARUJAN5 Still, my description doesn't involve crap. It involves other solutions, video softwares, music and so on. So start reading them. :)

  • Thank you for the video. I am a beginner and it's a life saver.

  • hahaha xXD

  • that's amazing!thank you!!

  • thanks a lot Cypereze i am not gay but i love you dude ;D ahahaha

    5/5

  • @cod2pro000

It's guylove, there's nothing gay about it. ^^

  • the song sucks, the picture sucks yeah everything SUCKS!!!!

  • @tol3671

Seems like you've got some sort of mental issues there, try not to express all your feelings cause I'm afraid I couldn't careless what you think or write. You could have spared some of your "precious" time doing something else than watching this video or even dropping a comment.

    Merry christmas :)

  • yeah, if you wanna hate, just rate 5 stars and move on.

  • @darius2543 Yeah, exactly!

  • oh sorry. lol i just realized i meant zero stars. but 5 stars for fail? haha.

  • you're the best tnx

    :)

  • thhanks !!

  • what if i erase a spot by mistake? How cani get the orinial spot back without redoing a big spot all over again?

  • @roxannedavid

Just a tip, try be more precise with your work.

Like, do rather small brush strokes than a huge one. Cause the huge one, yeah it goes quicker but it's easier to make simple mistakes.

    CTRL+Z to undo, or goto:

    Window -> History.

    Hope this helped some.

  • whooa..thanks.

  • tnx man

    5/5

    it helps a lot

  • thanks this helped a lot

  • wee.. i learned something from this..

cause whenever i change background i use magic wand tool..

  • At least you learned something, right? :)

  • yep... and it's not just something.. it's a big thing ..

  • thank you man!!!:)

  • nice done buddy... clearly and self explained!!

  • nice ^^ but do you know if you can do that with element 6

  • Basically, I think this would work in there aswell.

    Maybe there's another technique though.

  • tnx.! it helped me .! XD

  • ShaneImclean, thanks for an honest reply.

I could do mic tutorials, but I'm not English or anything likely so it'll just sound weird. And I don't know, it seems to work for everyone else..

But oh well, I'll use microphone next tutorial. But I don't want people bitchin' about my English.

  • sorry mate,i would like to apolagize for the last comment and i have removed it,after i actually paid a bit of attention to your video,i discovered it was quite easy to follow and i have now managed to do some quite good pictures, thanks again and i have also subscribed

  • Oh mate, don't worry! I usually doesn't like ''Look and do'' tutorials either, but since my mike was broken the week I made this video I couldn't make a speech tutorial. And remember, for a more precise work, use the pen tool.

  • When i use the magic Eraser tool it cleaning up every thing i mean the picture to erasing, can someone help me please!

  • Yeah I'm here to help!

I am pretty sure you got the first layer marked, that's why the whole picture is getting covered,

be sure to mark the background layer, then I'll work just fine. For furture problems, send me an PM with your problem and the details.

And I'm sure I can help you even more.

  • How to mark the background layer?

  • Just head down to the layer pannel, then you should see something called ''Background layer''.

And just click it - so it'll turn blue.

  • In the layer panel i can see (new then Background form layer) and the same thing when i press right click in the picture (Background form layer) i did that but it doesn't work, maybe i did the wrong one

  • this really helped...thanks a lot.

  • thanks!
