  • True story: Buck Owens wrote this after hearing Screamin' Jay Hawkins' "I Put A Spell On You" on the radio.

  • Gotta love Ray but I'd be happy for him to get rid of those damn strings... what's wrong with a fiddle or two?

  • @rocky6081 I know what you mean Rocky.

  • Buck Owens is genius, but this version scores a bit higher on my list.

  • Harmony singer is Ray Sanders who is still doing great albums for Hillside Records.

  • @1:36

    Nice jacket Mr. Price !

  • Oh no I am so sorry wrong video, that is not Van Howard---please accept my humble appology

  • Mr. Van Howard doing that fine harmony work---check with Eddie Stubbs.

  • No Ray Sanders on this one who also sang harmony on "Heartaches By the Number"

  • True real country...Thanks Ray...........

  • Both Ray Price and Buck Owens are at the top of my favorite list. Buck Owens wrote this song and it was Bucks first song in the top 10 on Billboard in 1959. Ray's version was also great since both the Buckaroo's and the Cherokee Cowboys knew how to play the shuffles. If I had to pick one as better I would have to go with Don Rich and the Buckaroos. • Who is the guy singing with Ray?

  • I love anything that Ray Price does,,and I like the way he did this song on here,

Thank you for sharing the video!

  • Not the best cut of this great song but I have danced to it every chance I got for the last 40+ years! Thanks Gator!

  • @dgtxdutch Yeah. I enjoy Buck Owen's original a little better myself.

  • @Gatorrock787 What I meant Gator was that I figure Ray had the best cut on this song but not this cut. Buck had a pretty good version as well. I think the musicians used made the difference.

  • @Gatorrock787 my favorite was Buck on Hee Haw in 1972, it sounds a lot more natural and smoother

  • Where did you find this video? Ray rules!
