  • ANY good engine canbe converted from fuel to electric cheaply by placing LINEAR MOTORS or VOICE COILS BETWEEN THE HEADS & PISTONS NO FUELS ! any stroke example BLDD-06 @28"stroke ^L.M. uses 4amps to 12 amps peak PUSH & PULL force of 200lbs to 600 lbs peak These devices are made all over the world at good prices example H2W WE HAVE NOT ! NEEDED GASOLINE SINCE 1969 STOP POVERTY and the GASOLOONS ! not to mention the enSLAVEMENT of your CHILDREN ! H2W has free online specs catalogs.mike peine

  • 84574395859468 Mpg..

  • used for this engine?

  • Despite its age. I am willing to bet it's more efficient then a smart car or scion when you break down the work load per ton. There is nothing like scale of efficiency.

  • VTEC Just kicked in yo! XD

  • That's got to be one thirsty monster! :-)

  • @Snoep76239 15,000,000,000,000 Ft/Trq and still growing ?!

  • chuck norris' pocket bike engine!

  • i bet that is how transformers sound when they are having sex

  • could you imagine the tooling it took just to make this thing, wow

  • ill put this in my ricer

  • needs to be in a big ship that should make ur chruises faster

  • VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO!

  • Wow that to me is just awesome.

  • I'm not familiar with B&W engines - looks like it's an opposed piston design similar to the Doxford engine. Eight cylinder and two stroke I'm thinking.

  • @aussiebug1970 The engine does have eight pistons but there are combustion chambers both above and below each piston so 16 total

  • @aussiebug1970 That's right.

  • Needs a turbo.

  • Whats the fuel consumption on something like this

  • @AdrianMX6

Around 1450 gallons/hour flat out (1750 US galls)

  • @johnwnice Crikey, I will never, ever complain about my V8 again

  • Chuck Norris should put this engine in his car

  • @daand12 no stfu nigger

  • Hey buddy! Can you check my valves?

  • Do they make these for Chevys too?

  • Chuck Norris's Ride, Large Bore Diesel with Remote Starter. It once failed to start so he had to hand crank it.

  • How much boost?

  • @HasseMcspanky Pretty much none. In a two stroke engine like this, the blower is there primarily to scavenge the cylinder, rather than provide a boost.

  • I wana swap this in my honda

  • huh ... I like to see that crankshaft

  • I like how there is 1 regular size kitchen-stove-style fire extinguisher for a 22 500hp engine

I mean cmon, what is that going to do?

  • @addemufc 'Slike sneezing, in a hurricane, or shitting in England.

  • now how do we fit that in a car? ;)

  • @oisiaa ahhh yes, but less than 1% of the torque

  • lol is it the intake manifold that hangs in the roof?

  • hope that bad boy don't throw a rod lol

  • how many gallons dose it burn in a hour

  • this engine has 984750 ft-lbs of Torque ! and formula is :

    (5252 x horsepower)divided by rpm(120 in this case)

    5252x 22500= 11817000 divided by 120 (rpm) = 98475 ft-lbs of torque

  • Is this hooked directly to a turbine or is it geared through a "transmission" to increase the output?

  • @kyle51895 It is hooked directly to a ASEA 5 MW generator :)

  • @Mitsugejl So the engine makes 16 MW in power, but only drives a 5 MW generator? Is it just losses in efficiency, or just overpowered?

  • @Freeflyer91 Oh sorry, its 12 MW :)

  • Put some cams in it ! lol

  • RPM? Maybe 80?

Torque must be like the USA national debt!

  • @Snoep76239 Ha ha!

  • @Snoep76239 22,500 HP at 80 rpm the torque would be 1,477,125 foot pounds.

  • Is that the manifold or the fuel line? LOL!

  • just think each combustion in just 1 cylinder probably burns 1 gallon of diesel

  • Not even Tranzilla can make a transmission big and strong enough for this monster

  • not more than150

    RPM?!?!?!?!?

  • I sailed for two years back in the 1950s on the old MV Comliebank.Twin screw, two B&W blast injection diesels. They were filthy, exhaust valves constantly burning out;cylinder head fires,a fine spray of lube oil, fuel oil and exhaust fumes swathed the cylinder tops when running. But,we kept them running for two years, despite several of the engineers jumping ship:they had had enough!

  • If this engine decides to "run away" it would be a massacre

  • Imagine changing the oil...

  • @lukeyj15 They just pull up a supertanker alongside... :-)

  • 22500 hp and around 924724871918319317287493823937487392183 ft lbs of torque... lol

  • I'd love to see the stack on that thing

  • @ 4.43 is that crank case vapor leaking pass the wiper/packing gland on the

    con-rod?

  • how many rpm does it run??

  • Nice!

  • What if they turbocharged it.

  • Does this thing have a Turbo?

And - a Chip for some extra ponys? :D

  • this is hummers response to the prius

  • this is awesome im a machanic and i so wud love to work in a garage and work on engines i love making them work it awesome it really is

  • Decent exhaust pipes...

  • this is the engine chuck norris uses in his civic

  • purrs like a kitten. a very LARGE kitten

  • How many gallons per mile?

  • @bachhell It never moves. You're joke isn't funny.

  • @pv2xeek If my joke isnt funny then why am I laughing my ass off?

  • wonder how much oil you put in it

  • Saw this on a trip to copenhagen,, Amazing piece of machinery.. Its a museum now, so there are ALOT of different old diesel engines in there but this one is amazing.

  • I think Youtube put the like and dislike buttons too close together.

  • how do u start something that big

  • i think i'm gonna need a bigger truck lol

  • @RCNitroHelp101 ahh yeah maybe it does then :L

  • that would be great in a Honda civic

  • Jest pierwsza rano.... DLACZEGO JA TO OGLĄDAM?

  • VTEC just kicked in, yo!

  • @DanielRemains this engine doesn't even have valves! lol

  • the turbo has a second use, as a car shredder.

  • 22500 HP!! Damn that's a big sucker.

  • How many cylinders? Oh, and how many gallons per equivalent-of-a-mile does it get?

  • how many cylinders? also, if it's not the world's most powerful, what is?

  • @smncutler414 The Sulzer 14 cylinder FLEX (commonrail) engines, 98 cm bore. They produce more than 100.000 HP

  • Is this the same machine??

    forums.maxima.org/other-cars/588616-true-power.html

  • how many gallons of oil does the crankcase hold?

  • These guys are screwed if it throws a rod..lol

  • how much does this thing weigh? like 2,000,000lbs

  • 22300 hp how much torque lol

  • @randombk82894 the general rule of thumb with most diesels is that whatever hp they make they will make roughly double the torque. so I would guestimate somewhere in the 40 to 50 thousand ft/lbs

  • where does the exhast go to :D

  • u wood think id be load as shit

  • Will it fit into my civic?

  • @gigobait I'm a mechanic. It'll fit. You only have to slightly modify the clutch and take gearbox from accord when swapping the engines.

  • @Rafcyk Excellent, the only thing now is to find a spare engine

  • what mounts would i have to use to swap it in my f250

  • ONLY 22,500 HP !?

  • @rockerzac99 it's a diesel forget the horsepower and think of the torque

  • haha put that on a ship :D

  • sounds like the tardis at first

  • BEN THERE. DUN THAT

  • would i be able to fit this on a harley ?

  • hmmm , i'm wondering about fuel consumption

  • @torentmonkey i'm guessing 60 gallons/hour

  • @torentmonkey Not big- Not more than normal freight train

  • @torentmonkey You dont want to..

  • Can I put this in my Geo Metro instead of the 55 HP Suzuki engine?

  • @kdc43 i doubt it would fit but you can try :P

  • @ph11p3540 @lagabagaboom The engine is stationary in a power plant in Copenhagen and provide power to a part of the Danish electricity network in emergency situations, but mostly it runs for a few minutes for visitors.

The engine runs on pure diesel fuel in this case and drives a generator.

  • @deHeckmann How do you start it? Is it compressed air?

  • @TheMopar01 yes compressed air. some 5-8 years back we had a total blackout here on sealand and the cables to sweden was destroyed. all they could do to start up the grid again was actually to start this engine to get power to all the other powerstations and get them syncronized.

  • I would normally assume this would be burning bunker crude but despite being the cheapest, it is just belches abysmal pollution. This looks like a stationary power plant on land and so diesel should be used. Lovely sound. It's music to my ears.

  • @ph11p3540 Thinking about it, if they are only running it occasionally for visitors, it would make sense to run it on diesel, because it would be too much bother to keep all the fuel lines hot enough for heavy oil all the time.

  • what does this engine power?

  • I wonder how often they have to clean up underneath this engine...it has numerous total-loss oilers in the top end.

  • I see 8 exhaust ports and 8 sets of rocker arms, so I'd guess 8 BIG

cylinders in-line. Wonder if its still hooked up to a dynamo? Sounds

like a big generator torquing up as the engine picks up RPMs.

IMPRESSIVE! If there's a bigger diesel somewhere I never saw it.

  • @4freespeech Google Wartzilla 110,000 H.P.

  • gotta figure out how to fit that in the dodge. haha

  • @dodgecummisn2500 LOL then you would have the most badass dodge in the world! 22,500 HP with enough torque to move burj khalifa and new york city without any trouble

  • Superb!

  • scratchin his ass at 1:04

  • How many pistons are there and what is the max RPM for this 22,500 HP diesel/heavy oil engine

  • @teletubbykiller23 the Max RPM i beleive is about 800 RPM. Engines this size do have quite low PRM rates. the numper of sylinders i can´t answer.

  • @Torvikholm

About 120rpm. And they always run it at full throttle.

  • @Torvikholm looks like an inline 8 cyl

  • @Torvikholm The mac rev is no more than 120 RPM

  • @teletubbykiller23

1 piston/cyl dubble acting two stroke Total 8cyl normal range of rpm 90-120/max. About 100 m3/24 ours of fuel

  • I thaught that this monster would run on heavy fuel oil but this is one monster of an engine fuck a 550 hp semi i want a 22,500 hp heavy fuel oil monster in my smart for-two

  • Is it running on diesel there? I don't hear any bangin and belching?

  • @danwat1234 - The engine runs on diesel

  • @deHeckmann How many Gallons and hour?

  • @danwat1234 They start it using compressed air.

  • damn look at that blower

  • replace all four of the boeing 747's engines with that and a huge ass propeller up front =P

  • needs a turbo

  • @dorifto25 it has double Roots blowers. Serious stuff.

  • @dorifto25 It has a Compressor

  • ...bad ass, but needs bigger and louder exhaust.

  • BTW subbed 5 stars and faved

  • got full view of the superchargers at 2:14

  • =DDD =)))

  • It's bigger than my duplex =)

  • Beyond belief.

  • The engine size is related to the technological development of the Copenhagen energy supply, the B&W shipyard and B&W engine factory through 150 years, goods transport across the oceans and the use of diesel technology all over the world.

  • For what so big engine??

    Amazing :D

  • @wdowa94

one outa 2 things... it's either a generator or super tanker.
