Why does the file take 951MB after it stops rendering?

Each time I drag a Media Generator, only 1 comes.

How do I do it where 3 comes at the same time like at 0:54?

Those are not 3 media generators, his timeline is just zoomed in so Vegas fill in the room with as many screens it can. Zoom in your timeline and more should appear. Doesn't make any difference on the video, though.
