I've seen the '90s cartoons series of Rupert, but never this incarnation, with which I'm not very familiar. I didn't even know there were any other series featuring the titular character until coming across them on Wikipedia.

A lot of the people involved in the making of this wonderful series, Mary Turner, Christine Glanville, Rowena White, David Elliot and John Read, used to work for A.P. Films/Century 21 for Gerry and Sylvia Anderson.

Found this & showed to my mum, who promptly burst out laughing, telling me I used to cry when it finished & badgered her for years for a cuddly raggety!

Wow. Where have the years gone ? Seems like I watched all of this as a kid in another lifetime. Old B&W TV (knobs for changing channels). I can still taste a slice of Mr Kiplings cherry bakewell tart.
