@jeffdunstan I ship a day or two after orders come in. I use First Class US Mail with Delivery Confirmation. I teach you how to look at this game like the casino looks at you. I will teach you how to manage your money on the game so you don't go broke fast when you play. I also teach you a betting strategy for Black Jack. More DVDs about other games are in the works. Thanks for your great comment and I hope I get to send you a DVD set very soon. Good luck to you!!
@YoMammasSoFat A lot of people are sold on the "value" of the odds on the line and through Come bets. However, there is a math issue on which way to play pays more. I outline it in detail on the DVDs. I do teach all about the odds bets and how they work. I'm not saying " Don't take the Odds". I am saying that I believe it is better to place Odds bets with winnings from the house so when you loose those bets, it is all houses money going back to the table and not your bankroll.
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS I thank you for these vids, and the DVD set I ordered, they're great! I do wonder what you think about pulling money out more as you go? Let's say on $5 table, you hit 2 points. So, first point you get paid $5, second point you get paid $10. You play a $15 bet and drag 5 off. You pass again, paid $15. I think I would be inclined to drag off $10. Also, on the place bets, instead of pressing as you hit what about going up increments of 5 (or 6)? Might bank more money...?
Thanks for putting these videos out there. I have ordered the DVD and am eagerly awaiting it! I got hooked on craps a year or so ago and am heading to Vegas in a couple months again, going to learn from your DVD and apply that strategy. Have you ever heard of the doey-don't system? It's another 'grind' style bet system that hedges your bets but relies on odds on the come bets for any winnings. Also, what do you think of the 5 count method I've read about? Thanks again, hope to hear back!
@awy1977 Glad you like the videos. The DVDs are on the way!!! I'm certain you will like them, too. Tons of good information. Leave the Doey-Don't for the alcoholic chicken hedgers that only want action for "free" drinks. The 5 count method won't allow you to take advantage of jackpot scenarios. I have a much better strategy outlined in the DVDs. The passline protection move I show you is sweet for sure. Good luck and stay in touch!!!!
I am interested to know when to get money into the pass odds part. Ive heard everytime a point is established? but if im putting $5 in the field $6 on 6 and 8, then $5 (or $6) i believe thats a $28 into a table. My point is shouldnt i get my money into the pass odds first?
@MyAntonio43 Play odds behind the line if you wish. I wait until I am up on their dough because you are putting more money into action when the odds are against you making that number before a 7 wipes you out. Get your dough out of the scenario so when you loose you aren't loosing your bankroll to the table. My strategy is a great one for getting started inexpensively and covering a lot of dice combinations. Good luck to you!!!!
cont.... tie, where as, by going in the field, even though you're betting on more numbers 2,3,4,9,10,11,12, on those there are 16 ways to win, vs 20 to lose... Do I have this right? Going to Vegas in 2 weeks and will play craps. I wanna know if I'm looking at the probability okay... or am I just making shit up. haha Thanks, Great videos!
Hi there! Awesome video, and just so you know, I do know how to play craps, but your video is definitely has an amazing strategy! I did have one question. at about 4:00 mark, I was wondering, would it have been smarter to bet on the 5 instead of going into the field? Since in the field you're covering more numbers but less probability. With the same amount of chips $5 on the 5 as in the field, is it safe to assume the following. with 5,6,8,9,covered there are 18 ways to win,6 to lose and 12 to
@bill1957111 On this short hand I would have lost much more playing Odds behind the line. There are many ways to play this game and the Casino has everybody sold on taking odds behind the line from their pocket. I want you to take odds from winnings off of a longer hand. I don't say "don't take odds", just use houses money to play when you get the opportunity from a longer hand. The casinos don't want people to learn from me because I teach a "grind" strategy that take time to beat you.
After the first roll and you bet 6,8, field, what happens if you roll something not in the field to start coverage? Do you bet in the field again until you win?
@BigPumaGaming Yes, but you press or double up on the number that just won. If it hits again, you will still loose the field bet but the pressed number will pay enough to cover your losses and give you the chips to cover the other numbers using place bets. Thanks for watching!! Good luck to you!!
Fairly new to craps and stumbled upon your videos recently. I had no idea how terrible my betting strategy (if you can call it that) was. lol. Thanks for sharing! Oh I forgot to mention, I walked out with $40 thanks to watching this. Not a whole lot but winning is winning :)
@RileyMcArthur Great question! So when does one decide to walk away? I choose to stop playing when I have lost a few hands in a row or if I have just cleaned up and now have a nice stack of chips to cash in. It is really up to you, however, most people just continue to play once they have won some money because they are "on a roll" so to speak. That term only applies to one hand of the dice, though. Walk when you are going broke at the table or when you have a bundle to take home. Good luck!
@UMFDROOG264 You aint' kidden.........EVERY system includes a catch phrase that isn't included with the purchase price.......YOU CAN'T WIN EVERY TIME!!!!!!! You DO, however, have an opportunity to learn what a "hand to win a grand looks like".........spend $50.00 with me, and you won't feel cheated like at the Casino.....
At 1:25, what if you rolled a 5, so you lost your field bet and didn't gain anything anywhere else? Is that just bad luck and you should throw in $5 from your bankroll on the field again?
@DarkSylvanis There are no Come Bets in this scenario. But to answer your question.... Yes......all come bets loose if winner 7 is rolled on the come out roll. At 2:25, however, he won on the passline because he hit the point number of 9. Come bets don't loose if you make the point. They do loose if you roll a 7. You get your "odds" bet back but loose the individual come bets. Some new players think they just got paid when handed their odds. Thanks for the question and good luck to you.
@videoluvr4204 Good luck on your cruise!! Be sure to let us know how you did on the dice table. Ask questions if you have them and be sure to buy a DVD set to get the whole picture. Don't forget to tip your friendly craps dealers!!
@mrwormy1 Glad you like the vids. Please ask questions if you have them. Good luck to you and, also, please let us know how you do if you choose to go and play for real in the Casino!!
Wonderful online video media! Need to make around 500 Bucks day every day? Around 2600 satisfied individual consumers have been applying this process at the moment! Visit roulettecash !! or)
I definitely needed to find a good craps video. I am headed to vegas for the first time next week. I have watched craps games at my local casino but the game goes so fast I can't understand what is going on, and I would really like to get involved. I am def going to be watching these vids over and over to make sure I can play a little bit. Thank you!
@OfficerBigJoey Good luck to you!!! Be sure to let us know how you do when you go play for real. Be prepared to have the dealers tell you to put money behind the line for Odds.........they want you to think it is the only way to play the game. There are many different schools of thought regarding strategy on the Craps table. Thanks for your commen and buy a DVD set to get the whole story!!
Thanks for the videos! I'll be heading to Vegas soon and I'd really like to be able to walk up to a Craps table and _not_ look like a fool :) Is there a part 5 to the video series? I can't seem to find it.
@masterspud777 Glad you like the videos. There isn't a part 5 right now. I re-numbered the videos last year and there used to be 7 of them. Purchase a DVD set to get way more than we have time for here on YouTube and to learn stuff the casinos don't want you to know. Thanks for watching and learning with me. Ask questions if you have them and read the other comments. Good luck in Vegas!!! Let us know how you do on the craps table and don't forget to tip your dealers when you win!!
So I just got back from Vegas and I thought I'd share my Craps experience everyone here. Feel free to comment or critique!
I found the cheapest table I could at my hotel (a 5$ table). Unfortunately there were no other cheap tables in the casino at the time, so I knew that I would be stuck with this table even if it went cold. But I took a swing at it anyway- my schedule was filling up and it was now or never. I threw down 100$ and started playing.
Remembering what I had learned here from your videos, I began each hand with a small bet to the Pass Line, placing bets on the 6 and the 8 when the point was set, and expanding from there. As I got more comfortable with the game, I modified my strategy and took Odds behind the line, or set up my Place bets with money from my own pocket just to get new hands rolling faster.
My bank roll at first went up to $140, then back down to $100, then up to $160.
After two hours of playing, I eventually lost all my money, but I had a great time and I learned some valuable lessons:
1) Bide your time. In the end, the odds in Craps are decidedly against you. Therefore, walking away from the table with more money than you when you started will always take a stroke of luck. Play smart and wait for that luck to come.
2) Don't play Odds behind the line. While it pays the true odds, all it serves to do is speed the game up. For example, playing 2-to-1 odds behind the line will statistically win once for every two times it loses. If you win one $10 payout for every two $5 bets you lose, you come out even on those bets. All you've done is made your bankroll more volatile in the process. In my opinion, don't play the odds and make your bankroll last longer.
3) Don't force it. I started making place bets out of my own pocket on the 5 and the 9, just because I was impatient and I wanted to start making money on those sooner. It was a poor move on my part. After a few hands where a seven was rolled immediately after the point was established, I was down a lot of money.
4) Lastly, dealer tipping. I made a couple odds bets on their behalf early on. That way they got their tip even if I lost my bankroll.
@masterspud777 Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I agree with everything you said. Thank you for tipping the dealers early on. You are due a good win in the future if you bet for others. My personal belief. If you loose, at least the casino doesn't get it all in their coffers. Good luck in the future!!!!!
@soldanovht On this short hand I would have lost much more playing Odds behind the line. There are many different ways to play this game and the Casino has everybody sold on taking odds behind the line from their pocket. I want you to take odds from winnings off of a longer hand. I don't say "don't take odds", just use houses money to play when you get the opportunity from a longer hand. The casinos don't want people to learn from me because I teach a "grind" strategy that take time to beat you.
@Drucom1 You are very welcome. Nice little win!! Hope you tipped your friendly dealers. Good luck and let us know how you do in the future! Thanks for you comment and your time!!
@Drucom1 Yes communicate with your dealer......verbally. Don't assume he will know what you want. If you say nothing he will just hand you your money back. When that happens, (if you haven't seen enough action on a real live craps game), you may think you just got paid........to the houses benefit. Tell the dealer where you want your money. There are no turns or cutting in line. Speak up and say what you want. As a good craps dealer, I need to be able to handle all the action presented.
Hi - I'm learning. I'm going to test this system out at the casino in town this Thurs. It's fairly simple. I'll let you know how it turns out. I like the 6&8 probable bets. Playing with dice here at home, these #'s turn up quite often. I'd love to be able to afford your video for 50 but the reason I am watching these vids is because my job is threatened and I have to have plan B happening, which is craps now. Quick & fast $. I may loose or win, but the odds look good. I'll let you know. thanks.
@oceansdoor The reason I made this video series is to teach you how to play craps. I don't want you to make this your plan B. I lost my home to foreclosure last year and I understand your position. It is the reason I made the DVDs 4 sale. The craps table will either make or take money. Just set yourself a loss limit................never set your self a win limit. I play and press up my bets with houses money that has been won from the game, not my bankroll in my pocket. Good luck to you!!
@oceansdoor The Big 6 & 8 are sucker bets and only pay even money.......6 bucks wins 6 bucks. You can win 7 dollars for every 6 you bet on the numbers in the dealers workspace. They put the Big 6 & 8 out there for little old ladies that want action on 6 or 8 but don't want to talk to the dealer to get it. At least that's what I told people when I worked in the dice pits. Thanks for your question!! Good luck to you!!
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS I went with $100 and came out with $400! I have to say I changed my strategy a bit towards the end when I got the gist of it. I started playing the Field and Come line mostly. But those 6's and 8's definitely helped. Thanks a lot!
@lothario19 Sweet!! Nice little score there. Congrats on your win! Hope you tipped your dealers at least a few bucks. Now you have enough dough to purchase my DVD set! Yay!!!! Good luck and be sure to let us know how you do next time. Thanks for watching and learning with me!
@liuj71 Be sure to let me know how you do and what your first real experience on the craps table is like. Thanks for watching and learning Craps with me. Good luck in Vegas!!
@liuj71 Im going to Vegas also, in two days. Never played craps before but these videos look helpful. Hope I can use your strategy and win some money!
@liuj71 Im going to Vegas also, in two days. Never played craps before but these videos look helpful. Hope I can use your strategy and win some money!
@Hotquad69 Good luck to both of you. Be sure to let me know how you do when you go and play for real. Don't forget to tip your dealers and your servers!!!
Great Videos! I love how you take 5 dollars out each time and just play with the casino's money, great way to win money! However, I'm wondering why you don't tell anyone about the backline bet?
@FSTA54 The Casino wants me to teach you how to take Odds bets from the start of play. I would rather see a player take Odds action with money they have won from the house. The Casino doesn't want you to play with my strategy because it takes longer to get your money from your bankroll playing minimum bets and taking your money out when you win. The house wants you to chunk the Odds bets out there. Thanks for your comment!! Good luck to you no matter what your strategy of play!!
@AssyrianGuy34 I always place 2 numbers after the come out roll. If the point was a 6, I would cover the 5 and 8 with a field bet, too. That gets all the numbers except for the 7 which will wipe you out. Thanks for the great question! Good luck to you!
@AssyrianGuy34 If I hit the 8, I press it and replace the field. If the 8 hits again, I now have $14 to place on the other numbers and I stop putting money in the field. If I win in the field, I take my field bet and the winnings and cover other numbers and stop betting the field. It's a bad bet with 5 to 4 odds against you making the numbers, however, it does offer you 16 dice combination's for only 5 bucks with an even money payoff except for 2 and 12 which usually pay double or even triple.
@jtrouts I wish to show the truth about the game and its possible outcomes. I have posted multiple videos on the subject and feel that if a player is educated, they are likely to win more and loose less. Education is a winning strategy in any environment. Thanks for your post and good luck to you.
I've started using ideas from this in various freebie simulators and have been ahead 90+% of the time, great tips! I wondered though, at 3:15 you rolled a 5 which you had a place bet on, wouldn't that get paid off?
@ddjrico489 Nope...........that 5 is a place bet and was OFF coming out. Just like Odds on the Passline and Come bets. It doesn't win anything if it rolls. It doesn't loose either. no matter what rolls when that puck is OFF, the place bet action is off. You have been playing at places like BODOG that don't have a correct course of play to show you. There aren't any good craps games in cyberspace that play like the real thing. Too many variables to consider, I guess. Good luck to you!!
@ontheright1 You loose way more money playing odds when the hands are short like this. It is how the casinos want you to play the game for sure. They don't want you to play this strategy because you are covering lots of possible outcomes and not risking much of your bankroll to play. Take odds if you wish, I just say make those bets with money you won from the house so when you loose you are only loosing houses money back to them and not your bankroll. Thanks for watching and good luck!
@ManiacPaul Thanks for the question. Yes....craps is a better game for sure. Roulette can be a fun game to play and get a cocktail or two but I wouldn't try to win any money over there. If you see an older person dealing the wheel in Vegas at one of the bigger, older joints, ask them where they would like to have a bet made for them as a tip. Put your bet there, too, and around that number on the wheel. Best bet is to play with the dealer on that game. Otherwise, learn Craps. My opinion.
hey man your video is very helpful, i jus learned the basics jus from watchin your youtube post.i am getting ready to go to the big leagues(las vegas),is this the best spot for me to get physical practice.and if im shooting, should i stick to just pass line line, field and place bets
@sleezzzyp Glad you find my information helpful and thanks for your comment. I am setting up a place in Vegas where you can come and play for hours before you go and gamble for real. Should be up and running by Feb. I say just stick to what I've shown here......maybe some odds action behind the line if you feel lucky. The casino will tell you to put money there for sure. Get out of the field after one win and put that dough on other numbers like my scenario played out. Good luck to you!!!!
This guy explanes everything, the onlything i dont get is WHY 2, 3, and 12 are bad roles. DId they just pick them for fun as cra numbers? I have no idea.
@gnomeslayer17 Using those numbers gives the player 4 dice combos to loose on and 8 dice combos to win on (6 ways for a 7 and 2 ways for an 11) on the come out roll. It entices players to enter the game with that "winner 7" in their favor to start with. After the point comes out.........WHAMO!! The advantage now goes to the house's side and your bet is now a contract bet and will win on the point number or loose on the 7. Thanks for your comment and good luck to you!!!!
I understand that online craps games may yield different results than the actual game in a casino, so what happens if...
1. the point is a 4 and I have a come bet (along with its odds) on the 9. the 4 is then rolled, subsequently moving the puck to the off position. what happens if the following come out roll is a 7? what about a 9?
2. I have come bet on the 5 and the point is off. on the following come out roll, a 5 is rolled. do I win my come bet?
@ripsta003 All your come bets loose if that winner 7 rolls. You are handed back your Odds bet(s) in the Casino and you have to start all over again to get coverage on the numbers. It confuses some players into thinking they got paid. I like place bets better. In your other scenario, if that 5 rolls, the flat part of your come bet is paid but not your Odds bet because they were OFF just like the Odds on the passline. If you don't take at least 5 X Odds you are doing more work for less money.
i have a question, if i go to vegas with $500 bucks do you think i could last all night if i play craps and only bet minimum amounts to start and play with the houses money how long before i loose it all? and is craps actually profitable if you make smart bets and no what your doing or will you eventualy loose it all? thanks and great videos.
@fifteendollarbill If you have 500 to plop down in Vegas, I suggest you invest about 50 of it on my 3 DVD set on craps. Craps can be VERY profitable.....it just depends on your luck and what you do with your luck. That's the real trick. Being smart means being educated. If this game was "easy" to make money on the Casinos wouldn't have it in their line up. Seeing enough action to know where your luck is running is key. My videos will get you where you want to be. Good luck and thanks 2 U!
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS Is this video series separate from your 3-disc series or some of the actual footage? Do you believe that craps can be beaten consistently ( not each and every time, but most of the time) without using the DOMINATOR dice control (the guy from breaking vegas-craps). By the way, your videos are very informative. I will be ordering your five hour video package soon. Take it easy.
@cjenterprize Thanks for your comment and your questions. My DVDs were shot and edited professionally. My YouTube footage was shot with my Kodak digital camera for easy upload to YouTube. I believe the Dice dictate the game and you either win or loose. Knowing what to do when you win is the key. I don't subscribe to the theory of dice influence or control. Once tumbling and hitting the pyramids on the back wall, you get a random roll of the dice. Thanks again and good luck to you!!
@vancity3030 I would replace the field bet, and PRESS or double up on the number that just won. If it is a 6 or 8 it is the 2nd highest probable number on the layout and if it hits again, you will still loose the field bet but your pressed up number will pay for all your losses and give you enough to cover the other numbers. If that 5 rolls, you loose the field. So I replace the field and hope one of the 16 dice combos pays for the place bet on the 5. Thanks for the great question! good luck
@vancity3030 Also.....if I win in the field or if my pressed up number hits, then I'm done with that field bet. It is a bad bet to begin with.....5 to 4 odds against you making it.........I take my winnings and place the rest of the numbers. Thanks again and be sure to buy my 3 DVD set to get the whole story at my merchant web site listed on my red banners. Good luck to everybody learning something about this great game in the Casino!!
Excellent videos!!! I was a little skeptical at first. Went to Harrahs and turned $40 into $1377 in just under 5 hours. I took 4 breaks like you said when the table went cold. Came back after 10 minutes and the table was hot again. Looking forward to going back this weekend. Thanks for the tips!!
@1towman1 Congrats on the win!!! Hope you tipped your dealers. That was a nice little score for only a 40$ investment. Consider buying my 5 hour DVD set that teaches you all about the rest of the game as well. Only $50 bucks. See how different strategies stack up against each other. Good luck on your next trip to the Casino!!
This video sucks! Why aren't you teaching these kids to play the odds?!?! Your system is a sure fire way to lose your ass off. If you want to last, play max odds on pass line. House advantage on place bets are:
6,8: 1.52%
5,9: 4.00%
4,10: 6.67%
You might as well head over to the roulette wheel with most place bet numbers... If you play double odds on pass line (or on come bets for that matter) the house edge is: 0.6%
@DingleB3 Anybody can copy percentages out of a book and post them. Can you tell me where they come up with those numbers and why they teach percentages to begin with? I can. It's to fool you into thinking the way they have you thinking already. I'm not saying "Don't take odds bets". Just use houses dough to make those bets. Get your money off the layout and play with houses dough, no matter what your system. My strategy of play is based upon years of practical experience as a dealer.
Why is it when I play a craps game on my computer when the place bets are off and I roll a 7 I win my pass line bet by I lose all my place bets I thought because the puck was off they wernt in play??
@SourGrasshopper Your computer game or website is wrong and your thoughts are correct. You never loose place bets on the come out roll on a real craps table. They are off and not working coming out. I hope you aren't playing for real money in cyberspace. I've said it before......Cyberspace is no place to gamble away your hard earned money. Where is the gaming commission? No way to guarantee a fair game.....or even a correct course of play it would seem.
Good video, its kinda what I like to do...but I usually only gamble for 3 rolls after a point is made I pick 5,6,8 or 9 for the min. if those numbers hit great I collect on them and then your basically playing with all the houses money from there on. Hope for a hot shooter and GL
Is it only me, or did the player lose money in EVERY hand? Just an observation. There seems to be a lot of investment involved in getting that much coverage, and then if a seven is rolled (which is quite likely, of course), you lose it all! I like the idea of playing with the house's money, that's just not what I see happening here.
@DTBAIT I'm glad you appreciate my teaching methods. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the game. Buy my video to get the whole story and learn what the casinos don' t want you to know.
@cellPuppy You are correct except for one small detail. The house will bar either the 2 or the 12 from winning on the come out roll. That is how the house keeps its advantage. My layout bars the 12 coming out so if you roll a 12 you "push"......no win and no loss.
If you are ever at The Casino Royale in Las Vegas... there is a dealer by the name of Bryan who is real helpful during game play... Helped me win 100 dollars on my first time ever playing craps this past weekend!!
@FaithfulAndTrue1 I play at the Casino Royale in Vegas when I go. Right accross the street from the Mirage with the Volcano show on the strip. They usually have $3 dollar craps table(s)during the week nights and the last time I was there they had 100x odd action. I will play there again for sure.
i appreciate the videos, but one thing I dont agree with is the idea of moving or whatever because of hot/cold streaks.
You mention earlier that the dice are totally random each time, which is correct. The odds are going to be the same each roll and it's a little naive to think that these streaks are more or less likely at a different table.
It isn't that they are more or less likely... the games do run in streaks both on the winning side and the loosing side. If they didn't you wouldn't get anywhere and neither would the Casinos. You get paid when the streak is in your favor and loose when it isn't. If you're loosing then go away so you don't continue to loose. I say get a fresh perspecitve and save your dough. That's not naive at all. The Casino would rather you just stay there and continue to play. What does that tell you?
I would think the best place to bet the field is if the marker is on any number that is on the field, that way you can make double if it hits the number that is on the marker, but even if its on 6 or 8 the field is still good because you can still win, only thing is the field is a one time bet
I remember you mentioning that the place bets are the dealer's workspace and you are to keep your hands away. What do you do when you win on them? Can you reach over and pick up your winning chips when they place the chips next to yours? Or do you have to ask for them?
sorry for my lack of terminology, but i was told about 20 times playing at the casino (by the players) that putting an additional $5 or whatever on the players side of the pass line is the best bet to make while playing craps (hopefully you know what i mean), yet is isn't mentioned here. anyone know what i'm talking about?
After the point is made, what many people do is, "take odds" behind the original pass line bet. This bet is put directly behind your original passline bet. You will be paid true odds on this bet ,whereas, you are being paid even money on the passline. Taking "odds" lowers the house advantage.
I played this way for eight hours Saturday. Brought $240 with me, ate a steak dinner, drank as many beers as I could ($4.25 ea.) and paid for the hotel. Came home with $600 in my pocket ... what a BLAST!
Instead of betting the pass line on the comeout roll, wouldn't it be mathematically better to place the 5 for $5, 6 for $6 and 8 for $6 and the then the field for $5 on the COME OUT ROLL, having all bets ON (working) on the comeout?
By by passing the pass line bet the 2,3 , or 12 will make you a field winner on the come out roll (instead of having a loss with the pass line)
The risk is still $22 but you have more ways to win on the comeout
ok betting place 568 and feild youll only be making 2 or 5 bucks pending what happens. if 568 hits you loss your feild, another thing not mention about the passline in this video is the free odds.
Another thing you can do is place 5 on passline and 1$ on any crap ( pays 8-1) but any crap bet is a one roll bet kinda thing.
Usually they are just shutting down the table when a shift is over or the action doesn't warrent having 3-4 dealers working on the Craps table. Most people feel they are taking away their chance to win when they close a table. They may raise the limit on the game if the majority of play is higher in dollar value than the current limit set. Those are legitimate reasons for closing a game or changing a game limit from the casino point of view.
Also I agree with Desh, I always bet C/E on the opening throw as an insurance towards the passline (E because 11 shows up the most on the come out throw)
at the end of the day.. u cant stop a 7 from coming on the 3rd roll .. craps blows

I find there's one thing he totally misses in these videos, and that's the value of betting the odds behind the pass line while the table is ON.
YoMammasSoFat 1 month ago
@YoMammasSoFat A lot of people are sold on the "value" of the odds on the line and through Come bets. However, there is a math issue on which way to play pays more. I outline it in detail on the DVDs. I do teach all about the odds bets and how they work. I'm not saying " Don't take the Odds". I am saying that I believe it is better to place Odds bets with winnings from the house so when you loose those bets, it is all houses money going back to the table and not your bankroll.

@YoMammasSoFat Thanks for watching and commenting on my videos. Good luck to you no matter how you choose to play this great game.

Might bank more money...?
awy1977 2 months ago
Thanks for putting these videos out there. I have ordered the DVD and am eagerly awaiting it! I got hooked on craps a year or so ago and am heading to Vegas in a couple months again, going to learn from your DVD and apply that strategy. Have you ever heard of the doey-don't system? It's another 'grind' style bet system that hedges your bets but relies on odds on the come bets for any winnings. Also, what do you think of the 5 count method I've read about? Thanks again, hope to hear back!
awy1977 2 months ago

MyAntonio43 5 months ago

What about ur odds behind the line?
bill1957111 6 months ago
@bill1957111 On this short hand I would have lost much more playing Odds behind the line. There are many ways to play this game and the Casino has everybody sold on taking odds behind the line from their pocket. I want you to take odds from winnings off of a longer hand. I don't say "don't take odds", just use houses money to play when you get the opportunity from a longer hand. The casinos don't want people to learn from me because I teach a "grind" strategy that take time to beat you.

After the first roll and you bet 6,8, field, what happens if you roll something not in the field to start coverage? Do you bet in the field again until you win?
BigPumaGaming 6 months ago
@BigPumaGaming Yes, but you press or double up on the number that just won. If it hits again, you will still loose the field bet but the pressed number will pay enough to cover your losses and give you the chips to cover the other numbers using place bets. Thanks for watching!! Good luck to you!!

RileyMcArthur 7 months ago
@RileyMcArthur Great question! So when does one decide to walk away? I choose to stop playing when I have lost a few hands in a row or if I have just cleaned up and now have a nice stack of chips to cash in. It is really up to you, however, most people just continue to play once they have won some money because they are "on a roll" so to speak. That term only applies to one hand of the dice, though. Walk when you are going broke at the table or when you have a bundle to take home. Good luck!

At 1:25, what if you rolled a 5, so you lost your field bet and didn't gain anything anywhere else? Is that just bad luck and you should throw in $5 from your bankroll on the field again?
TommyHarkin 8 months ago
At around 2:25, since he won on the pass line, does he lose all his bets on the come?
DarkSylvanis 8 months ago
@DarkSylvanis There are no Come Bets in this scenario. But to answer your question.... Yes......all come bets loose if winner 7 is rolled on the come out roll. At 2:25, however, he won on the passline because he hit the point number of 9. Come bets don't loose if you make the point. They do loose if you roll a 7. You get your "odds" bet back but loose the individual come bets. Some new players think they just got paid when handed their odds. Thanks for the question and good luck to you.

(continued in the next post below)
masterspud777 9 months ago
Remembering what I had learned here from your videos, I began each hand with a small bet to the Pass Line, placing bets on the 6 and the 8 when the point was set, and expanding from there. As I got more comfortable with the game, I modified my strategy and took Odds behind the line, or set up my Place bets with money from my own pocket just to get new hands rolling faster.
My bank roll at first went up to $140, then back down to $100, then up to $160.
(continued in the next post below)
masterspud777 9 months ago
After two hours of playing, I eventually lost all my money, but I had a great time and I learned some valuable lessons:
1) Bide your time. In the end, the odds in Craps are decidedly against you. Therefore, walking away from the table with more money than you when you started will always take a stroke of luck. Play smart and wait for that luck to come.
(continued in the next post below)
masterspud777 9 months ago
2) Don't play Odds behind the line. While it pays the true odds, all it serves to do is speed the game up. For example, playing 2-to-1 odds behind the line will statistically win once for every two times it loses. If you win one $10 payout for every two $5 bets you lose, you come out even on those bets. All you've done is made your bankroll more volatile in the process. In my opinion, don't play the odds and make your bankroll last longer.
(continued in the next post below)
masterspud777 9 months ago
3) Don't force it. I started making place bets out of my own pocket on the 5 and the 9, just because I was impatient and I wanted to start making money on those sooner. It was a poor move on my part. After a few hands where a seven was rolled immediately after the point was established, I was down a lot of money.
4) Lastly, dealer tipping. I made a couple odds bets on their behalf early on. That way they got their tip even if I lost my bankroll.
Thanks again! I can't wait to play again!
masterspud777 9 months ago
@masterspud777 Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I agree with everything you said. Thank you for tipping the dealers early on. You are due a good win in the future if you bet for others. My personal belief. If you loose, at least the casino doesn't get it all in their coffers. Good luck in the future!!!!!

When i have money on a point, and we hit that number what do i say to move my money to another point? Example - 3:17
Drucom1 10 months ago
@Drucom1 Yes communicate with your dealer......verbally. Don't assume he will know what you want. If you say nothing he will just hand you your money back. When that happens, (if you haven't seen enough action on a real live craps game), you may think you just got paid........to the houses benefit. Tell the dealer where you want your money. There are no turns or cutting in line. Speak up and say what you want. As a good craps dealer, I need to be able to handle all the action presented.
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 10 months ago
Hi - I'm learning. I'm going to test this system out at the casino in town this Thurs. It's fairly simple. I'll let you know how it turns out. I like the 6&8 probable bets. Playing with dice here at home, these #'s turn up quite often. I'd love to be able to afford your video for 50 but the reason I am watching these vids is because my job is threatened and I have to have plan B happening, which is craps now. Quick & fast $. I may loose or win, but the odds look good. I'll let you know. thanks.
oceansdoor 10 months ago
@oceansdoor The reason I made this video series is to teach you how to play craps. I don't want you to make this your plan B. I lost my home to foreclosure last year and I understand your position. It is the reason I made the DVDs 4 sale. The craps table will either make or take money. Just set yourself a loss limit................never set your self a win limit. I play and press up my bets with houses money that has been won from the game, not my bankroll in my pocket. Good luck to you!!

What are the Big 6 & 8 in the corners for? Do they have the same odds as the 4,5,6,8,9,10 odds? Thanks
oceansdoor 11 months ago
@oceansdoor The Big 6 & 8 are sucker bets and only pay even money.......6 bucks wins 6 bucks. You can win 7 dollars for every 6 you bet on the numbers in the dealers workspace. They put the Big 6 & 8 out there for little old ladies that want action on 6 or 8 but don't want to talk to the dealer to get it. At least that's what I told people when I worked in the dice pits. Thanks for your question!! Good luck to you!!

FSTA54 1 year ago
@FSTA54 The Casino wants me to teach you how to take Odds bets from the start of play. I would rather see a player take Odds action with money they have won from the house. The Casino doesn't want you to play with my strategy because it takes longer to get your money from your bankroll playing minimum bets and taking your money out when you win. The house wants you to chunk the Odds bets out there. Thanks for your comment!! Good luck to you no matter what your strategy of play!!

do you still bet on two numbers if you roll a six first? just pick either a 5 or 9 and then of course the field?
AssyrianGuy34 1 year ago
@AssyrianGuy34 I always place 2 numbers after the come out roll. If the point was a 6, I would cover the 5 and 8 with a field bet, too. That gets all the numbers except for the 7 which will wipe you out. Thanks for the great question! Good luck to you!
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 11 months ago
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS even if you keep hitting the 8 and pretty much breaking because of the field bet?
AssyrianGuy34 11 months ago
@AssyrianGuy34 If I hit the 8, I press it and replace the field. If the 8 hits again, I now have $14 to place on the other numbers and I stop putting money in the field. If I win in the field, I take my field bet and the winnings and cover other numbers and stop betting the field. It's a bad bet with 5 to 4 odds against you making the numbers, however, it does offer you 16 dice combination's for only 5 bucks with an even money payoff except for 2 and 12 which usually pay double or even triple.

I've started using ideas from this in various freebie simulators and have been ahead 90+% of the time, great tips! I wondered though, at 3:15 you rolled a 5 which you had a place bet on, wouldn't that get paid off?
ddjrico489 1 year ago
@ddjrico489 Nope...........that 5 is a place bet and was OFF coming out. Just like Odds on the Passline and Come bets. It doesn't win anything if it rolls. It doesn't loose either. no matter what rolls when that puck is OFF, the place bet action is off. You have been playing at places like BODOG that don't have a correct course of play to show you. There aren't any good craps games in cyberspace that play like the real thing. Too many variables to consider, I guess. Good luck to you!!

ontheright1 1 year ago
@ontheright1 You loose way more money playing odds when the hands are short like this. It is how the casinos want you to play the game for sure. They don't want you to play this strategy because you are covering lots of possible outcomes and not risking much of your bankroll to play. Take odds if you wish, I just say make those bets with money you won from the house so when you loose you are only loosing houses money back to them and not your bankroll. ManiacPaul 1 year ago
My opinion.

gnomeslayer17 1 year ago

2. I have come bet on the 5 and the point is off. on the following come out roll, a 5 is rolled. do I win my come bet?
thank you!
ripsta003 1 year ago
@ripsta003 All your come bets loose if that winner 7 rolls. You are handed back your Odds bet(s) in the Casino and you have to start all over again to get coverage on the numbers. It confuses some players into thinking they got paid. I like place bets better. In your other scenario, if that 5 rolls, the flat part of your come bet is paid but not your Odds bet because they were OFF just like the Odds on the passline. If you don't take at least 5 X Odds you are doing more work for less money.

i have a question, if i go to vegas with $500 bucks do you think i could last all night if i play craps and only bet minimum amounts to start and play with the houses money how long before i loose it all? and is craps actually profitable if you make smart bets and no what your doing or will you eventualy loose it all? thanks and great videos.
fifteendollarbill 1 year ago

Take it easy.
cjenterprize 1 year ago
@cjenterprize Thanks for your comment and your questions. My DVDs were shot and edited professionally. My YouTube footage was shot with my Kodak digital camera for easy upload to YouTube. I believe the Dice dictate the game and you either win or loose. Knowing what to do when you win is the key. I don't subscribe to the theory of dice influence or control. Once tumbling and hitting the pyramids on the back wall, you get a random roll of the dice. Thanks again and good luck to you!!
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 1 year ago
I have a scenario for you...
- The point is on 9.
- I have chips on 6, 8 and the field.
- I roll an 8.
Since I rolled an 8, I lose my field bet but I win my bet on 8. Should I take what I won on 8 and place it back onto the field?
Also, If I roll a 5, should I replace the field bet?
vancity3030 1 year ago
@vancity3030 I would replace the field bet, and PRESS or double up on the number that just won. If it is a 6 or 8 it is the 2nd highest probable number on the layout and if it hits again, you will still loose the field bet but your pressed up number will pay for all your losses and give you enough to cover the other numbers. If that 5 rolls, you loose the field. So I replace the field and hope one of the 16 dice combos pays for the place bet on the 5. Thanks for the great question! good luck
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 1 year ago

If you play double odds on pass line (or on come bets for that matter) the house edge is: 0.6%
Less than half of your best place bet of 6 and 8.

@DingleB3 i agree, first thing i learned was to play odds and , (knock on wood) i've never went down more than 50 on a table yet...

Why is it when I play a craps game on my computer when the place bets are off and I roll a 7 I win my pass line bet by I lose all my place bets I thought because the puck was off they wernt in play??
SourGrasshopper 1 year ago
@SourGrasshopper Your computer game or website is wrong and your thoughts are correct. You never loose place bets on the come out roll on a real craps table. They are off and not working coming out. I hope you aren't playing for real money in cyberspace. I've said it before......Cyberspace is no place to gamble away your hard earned money. Where is the gaming commission? No way to guarantee a fair game.....or even a correct course of play it would seem.

I don't understand why you are betting the 6 and 8 then adding the 9 and 5 etc. You you lose, you lose it all!
vcomp1960 1 year ago
Good video, its kinda what I like to do...but I usually only gamble for 3 rolls after a point is made I pick 5,6,8 or 9 for the min. if those numbers hit great I collect on them and then your basically playing with all the houses money from there on. Hope for a hot shooter and GL
DJG009 1 year ago
Is it only me, or did the player lose money in EVERY hand? Just an observation. There seems to be a lot of investment involved in getting that much coverage, and then if a seven is rolled (which is quite likely, of course), you lose it all! I like the idea of playing with the house's money, that's just not what I see happening here.

@roeyt77 the don't come bar wins on 2,3, 12 then if it hits 7 before the point then it also whens.
cellPuppy 1 year ago
@cellPuppy You are correct except for one small detail. The house will bar either the 2 or the 12 from winning on the come out roll. That is how the house keeps its advantage. My layout bars the 12 coming out so if you roll a 12 you "push"......no win and no loss.

If you are ever at The Casino Royale in Las Vegas... there is a dealer by the name of Bryan who is real helpful during game play... Helped me win 100 dollars on my first time ever playing craps this past weekend!!
FaithfulAndTrue1 2 years ago
@FaithfulAndTrue1 I play at the Casino Royale in Vegas when I go. Right accross the street from the Mirage with the Volcano show on the strip. They usually have $3 dollar craps table(s)during the week nights and the last time I was there they had 100x odd action. I will play there again for sure.
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 1 year ago
i appreciate the videos, but one thing I dont agree with is the idea of moving or whatever because of hot/cold streaks.
You mention earlier that the dice are totally random each time, which is correct. The odds are going to be the same each roll and it's a little naive to think that these streaks are more or less likely at a different table.
rvolk86 2 years ago

ChicanoTattooArt 2 years ago
I remember you mentioning that the place bets are the dealer's workspace and you are to keep your hands away. What do you do when you win on them? Can you reach over and pick up your winning chips when they place the chips next to yours? Or do you have to ask for them?

sorry for my lack of terminology, but i was told about 20 times playing at the casino (by the players) that putting an additional $5 or whatever on the players side of the pass line is the best bet to make while playing craps (hopefully you know what i mean), yet is isn't mentioned here. anyone know what i'm talking about?
great vid!

@UklaTheMokk
Its called playing the odds
Thackman83 2 years ago
After the point is made, what many people do is, "take odds" behind the original pass line bet. This bet is put directly behind your original passline bet. You will be paid true odds on this bet ,whereas, you are being paid even money on the passline. Taking "odds" lowers the house advantage.

I played this way for eight hours Saturday. Brought $240 with me, ate a steak dinner, drank as many beers as I could ($4.25 ea.) and paid for the hotel. Came home with $600 in my pocket ... what a BLAST!

Why aren't you showing the odds bets??? Great video's, but the odds bet has the LOWEST has advantage in the entire casinos
durealeminem 2 years ago
I have a math question concerning this game.
The risk is still $22 but you have more ways to win on the comeout
jr543266 2 years ago
ok betting place 568 and feild youll only be making 2 or 5 bucks pending what happens. if 568 hits you loss your feild, another thing not mention about the passline in this video is the free odds.
Another thing you can do is place 5 on passline and 1$ on any crap ( pays 8-1) but any crap bet is a one roll bet kinda thing.
DeshGTP 2 years ago
In order to throw the dice you have to bet the pass or don't pass
robnum1 2 years ago
sometimes when the players are winning a lot of money and getting happy, they either shut down the table or put the min higher, thats so mean huh?
ChicanoTattooArt 2 years ago
Usually they are just shutting down the table when a shift is over or the action doesn't warrent having 3-4 dealers working on the Craps table. Most people feel they are taking away their chance to win when they close a table. They may raise the limit on the game if the majority of play is higher in dollar value than the current limit set. Those are legitimate reasons for closing a game or changing a game limit from the casino point of view.
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 2 years ago
Also I agree with Desh, I always bet C/E on the opening throw as an insurance towards the passline (E because 11 shows up the most on the come out throw)
