Good song. The only irritating thing playing in a cafetaria or restaurant is the people talking. In a music club or concert hall they're at least a bit more focused.

heath st. is a street near UB here in Buffalo, Jim Carroll was a brilliant young anthropology student who had an exceptional ability to synthesize very complex sources of knowledge and allthough he was quirky people loved him and he died from rare complications from a rare condition at or before the age of 20. I knew himpersonally. I think this song is about him He used to live on Heath St.
