This work looks provocative and has a unique perspective, allowing both the light and the dark expression. Beauty and damage are interesting together, and I felt a range of complex emotions while viewing them. Am looking forward to the show to give me a broader experience. Nice job.
Enjoyed this video. The artist expressed her process and her rationale beautifully. I was intrigued by her statement regarding the back and male vulnerability; and that she wasnt interested in exploring the front of the figure. I thought the artist sounded very thoughtful and deliberate which is interesting considering the work is very active and even frenetic; looking somewhat automatic. I look forward to seeing this exhibition when i am in Atlanta.
Loved hearing her speak about her process and her influences. Thx for providing the backstory.
