  • I'd eat it.

  • Not bad. I admit that did not sound good in the beginning, but sure looked good in the end. Thanks for the recipe and tips on the fire management. Where can I get one of those trivets?

  • I'd love to see a tour of your cabin, that fire place looks very inviting !!

Am going to try this meal.

  • I love your vids and fireplace!!! AWESOME!

  • This is easily one of the best cooking videos I've ever seen at any time. Thanks for showing us this and for so clearly demonstrating proper heat management with a fire and coals.

  • What a great recipe. I love your trivet. Do you have to make a trivet or can you buy one?

    Great info on your channel...

  • I enjoyed your video very much ans subscribed to your channel. I just finshed making a trivet and a dutch oven lid tool out of rebar and some 1/2 inch round stock. I cook outdoors during fieldwork season. A whole chicken will cook completely in 60 minutes if you debone and cut into pieces. After eating a hot lunch at noon, the others stop complaining about my long 10:30 am breaks

  • Hurray .. I love this @R47R

  • Looks tasty and my kids might even like it.

  • corn is grain.

  • Lookit coffee pot! Dam! I am moving in. Oops, tea pot! I am a nooob! Your awesome anyway!

  • Lookit coffee pot! Dam! I am moving in.

  • Great video. I'm not much of a cook and I'm just getting into campfire cooking so these "tips" will come in very handy. I believe I have the "don't melt the pot" committed to memory and I'll work on the "don't let it stick to the bottom and burn". Completely on my own I've learned the "hot bacon and eggs will melt through a Styrofoam plate" rule and also at that time (recovery mode of bacon and eggs on the ground) I learned the "Teflon spatulas will melt on hot cast iron". Take Care. Dave

  • I dont know why but I love watching stuff like this

  • Great video sir. I just subscribed and will be looking forward to these videos and the references to Nessmuck were very enjoyable. I remember that section you talked about and it very informative and funny. And I like how you talk about how what you are doing relates to being over a campfire as well. Great stuff!

  • Thanks Professor, I've tried the " Border Patral Stew" on a catfishing trip & it was GREAT! Keep up the Videos & God Bless

  • @mashking3 Thanks for watching! Check out my videos "Border Patrol Stew" and "The Worst C-Ration Meal Ever!" They use the same 4-ingredient format and are made in a canteen cup.

  • Another great one. I shouldn't watch these before bed, I get so hungry. Keep them going I love the ideas.

  • Your videos are always a treat that I look forward to seeing.

  • Great Video! Thanks for sharing.

Gotta say, that I really love your Mancave. It's the ultimate!

  • GREAT video I was wondering if some of those 10,000 one pot meals could somehow geared to using the canteen cup. Thanks

  • I enjoyed this video, looking forward to more "One-Pot Meals".

  • I enjoy this idea, and look forward to watching more of the series. Thanks, Prof.

  • I am honored that you used my recipe! Looks great!! =)
