@OldSchoolSkill ... agreed... I even bought the Chris P. sheet music book with this piece in it and still couldn't get past the first 8 measures w/o some confusion... the official CP video has Alien finger movements as well.... (as if you haven't watched it 20 times...)

@kevindn41 because fret markings were things invented to help the modern and beginner guitarist. Classical guitars and even good quality acoustic guitars don't have them

Wonderful,this can be really hard to play on the guitar,finding a serene,warm tone and getting a nice flow with the bass-notes on the septima chords and so on.Best guitar version i´ve heard so far.I often listen to the piano-version with Angela Hewitt,an octave higher of course,would´ve been nice to hear it on cembalo,if it exists.

this piece really isn't suited for the guitar, like so much of bach's keyboard works. The guitar can't even play it properly. It's bad enough having this piece played on the piano.

It is from a collection called "Parkening plays Bach" published by Hal Leonard.

Parkening's version is my Gold Standard for this piece, and you play it very nicely. In the recording, he plays it with a capo on the second fret...lovely sound.

Nice playing, but the last few bars didn't sound quite right. It sounded as though there was a double note, or maybe it was the timing?

Good left hand - right hand could be better (try moving the wrist further away from the guitar and getting the knuckles parallel to the strings - makes playing easier)
