@ vish8895 3g is the speed of the connection. You can still access the Internet on GPRS which is the little circle on the iPhone or EDGE which shows as an E. The both connect via 2g cell sites will EDGE being faster than 2G. The fastest speed in the UK is HSDPA I think but it doesn't display on the iPhone yet so it will just show as 3g even if your picking this up. It uses the 3g cell sites.
