I was at that race... That is why Indy car racing is SOOO much better than Nascar. You don't see side by side action for 10 laps in a nascar race unless your talking about Daytona or Talledga.

It was not a race. Two drivers were going side by side for endless laps flat out, pedal to the metal. Meira had no chance to pass, he was stuck on the outside lane, with the IRL high downforce aero package there is no chance for real racing, drafting, dicing.

he didnt have to pass him, just be ahead of him at the line on the last lap...which he did on some of the laps...thats racing

this was the '04 race at kansas.. i liked th '05 race better .. NOT as HOT and they were 3 wide at the finish. But this was great as well. Love the IRL at Kansas, even if you ears are ringing for 5 hours later.. HAHA

This race was definitely intense to be at. I almost forgot how good it was. This year's race at Kansas was much less exciting than in previous years though. Did you guys hear that this race has now moved to April, I think because it was so DAMN hot in July? How did Vitor not win? Was the clip the radio commentary over the video? I know that tv coverage is usually a bit lack luster.
