The BEST pets are rescues, they are so relieved & happy to have a family again, it truly shows. Puppy mills should be illegal, so many purebreds end up in shelters because people don't research the best pet for them, they buy on CUTE & then can't deal with that breed's specific needs. Besides killing animals in shelters while breeders make more is inhumane. Shelter pets & rescues are the best pets, even abused ones DO bounce back with love & care.
