@fireball231 HI, You'll find that a lot of the "old hymns" of the church have been changed or "updated" as time goes by. You'll find it a lot in the oneness movement who don't like the original words to the song and change it to fit their doctrine.

But I would like do it like them. and also, I'm sure that we need to praise God with the music. and the music is simply music. God is the creator of the Music.. He's the author of Everything. Psalm 150.
