so it doesnt look so like "i braided my hair and took it out look" lol. Then i just take hair spray and lightly spray my hair so the crimp doesnt fall out :) Much easier then using a crimper i think, but then i again i can braid my whole head like this in 15 minutes or less.

The minimum you want to leave the braids in is 2 hours. I always leave them in for at least 3 or until i feel my hair is dry and set. The longer the better and some times i leave them in over night. When you take them all out you need to take your fingers through out the scalp area and mess it up a bit. This loosens any stiffness the hairspray may have caused in that area. Then you can piece out the braided sections how you like it. I dont do much, but piece out the braided sections a bit

what i do when i want to wear my hair crimpy/wavy i will braid up my hair in many smaller braids. Not super small cause if you do super small braids you will end up with somewhat poofy/frizzy hair. I usually end up with about 25 braids, give or take a few. After my braids are in i lightly wet down my hair and then give my whole head and braids a good spritz of hair spray. I promise when you take them out your hair wont be stiff and crunchy lol.
