i love cage the elephant, but thank you happy birthday was a major letdown for me. it seems to me that about halfway through the album they just got doped up and screamed with a sound like that of a dirty hobo into the mic. this video only fuels my thoughts that Cage is losing its artistic uniqueness and becoming completely lost in trying to be something they're not, 2024 being a perfect example... and dont try and tell me matt shultz isnt on drugs i could smell him in this video it was that bad

He isn't high. In any way shape or form. I met him in Jacksonville at Freebird Live and had the honor of jamming with him on the beach. Multiple people offered him drugs and alcohol of all sorts and he accepted none of them. Said he gave drugs up.
