  • Pythagora Switch! XD

  • Lol fake. Look closely. Fake

  • @mickhick95 Duuhhhhhh, 3DS Max is an animation program. Look at the tittle. I don't belame you but....

  • I am willing to sell a 100 percent legit copy of this, complete with serial and product keys for less than 300 $. The price is always negotiable!

  • IOI! Very slick, clean, creative! How long to render?

  • It looks so real! O_o!!

  • how you made that? gravity reactor? i am newby in this ok not too much but i am selfish studing

  • vervy cool!!!!

  • wat does that writing say at the end?

  • Ive downloaded 3dsmax9 but the only thing ive been able to do was some blocky colision test T_T

  • Its awesome!!!!!

  • Very cool. Do you think we could get a 1080p render?

  • 45

  • Looks like portal 2 somehow :/

  • Nice, I mean... AAAAAWWWWWWWWSSSSSSSOOOOOOMMMMMMMMEEEEE

  • 43 people were too jealous to hit the like button

  • check my 3ds max video in my channel :D

  • PITAGORA SUICHI

  • @maxacoola fucker that is fake

  • @ProjectAnnihalation can u see the title (3ds max animationm?)

  • Oh wow I thought that was so amazing when I watched it! Only after did I read that it was animation. Still a lot of work I would guess. I loved the part where the ball shoots up in the air off the spring. That was totally kewl.

  • What's up with the ball on the zipline? It seems the zipline "handle" adopts an energy-unfavorable position toward the end... Unless the wheel on the line is heavy and the ball is very light?

  • please make a tutorial video to do the marble course

  • Where is the sound?

  • lol i could not understand why it was so jerky at first because it looked so real

  • woah thats so cool i <3 it

  • Hey, I like the details of the scene. They are well done!

  • wow ncie job i thought that was real life!

  • Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • i didnt like it. it was to loud. jks it was pree cool

  • super

  • Scary to see kids being taught this at school, when to learn 3DS Max costs hundreds of pounds a day at any CAD centre for the rest of us, plus an arm and a leg for the software. And then the kids will work for two biscuits an hour first job out of school pushing the labour rate down.

  • the ball disappears at 0:10

  • @Augusts96 first ball falls.

  • this looks like real life

  • Nice work. I have to ask though, is the simulation a bit jerky, frame-rate a bit off, or youtube acting stupid?

  • @55vadamee The ball movement is a bit jerky indeed. This was a problem with Reactor and I didn't have the time to fix it. This was a quick school project anyways.

  • @paakolli hi:) i wanna make something similar with some dice.. how do I establish the final position in which the ball/dice will fall? thank you

  • @paakolli Its a stupid question but how do you move the camera?

  • @paakolli u get a+?

  • @paakolli Have you seen the Physics in max 2012? :D it's freaking amazing!

  • With 3500$ you can buy a good computer but MAX definetlly worths if you know how to work on it

  • What does the green sign say!?!?!

  • coolo

  • 27 seconds of my life given away, and what do i get?

A GREEN SIGN WITH LETTERS I CANT EVEN READ

  • I'm wATching in the year 2101.

  • is 3ds max free?

  • @SnipeSk8Productions

    No, it's costs about 3500 $.

  • @paakolli and when i saw that i thought you were kidding about the price.........found out your not!

  • @paakolli Holy S(BLEEP)! That's Expensive

  • @paakolli the only thing I hate about 3ds max.

  • @paakolli yes it cost 3500, but you can get a free student version for three years. All the information is in the autodesk website!

  • @paakolli in yen?

  • @paakolli If you have student account then it's free.

  • @SnipeSk8Productions

But if you register for it as a student, it is free.

  • @SnipeSk8Productions If you're a student it is.

  • @SnipeSk8Productions

You can get the student trial which is 3 years long! its very very cool!

  • @SnipeSk8Productions Or you can download it illegally from piratebay though that isn't very ethical :<

  • @SnipeSk8Productions The student version is free =D

  • @SnipeSk8Productions It's free if you have student account.

  • @iirmantass3 But only for training purposes. Student version is not for commercial work.

  • @paakolli So creating animation is comercial purpose?

  • @iirmantass3 Of course not but if you create an animation for someone with 3ds max and get money out of that - well that's forbidden.

  • @paakolli yep. But i tell to create this one it's free.

  • OMG im supposed to be studying for my final exams but these videos are so addicting!!!

  • @stelioskarachalios people who are jealous ;)

  • so somehow i"ve gotten from team fortress 2 allllllllll the way to here lol

  • Nice work!

  • y make a fake one when u can make a real one? :D

  • i bet that sign says

    "You Lost the Game"

  • @samisacamel It says "Pitagora Suichi" (Pythagoras Switch) It's from a Japanese show =]

  • thats anamation!?

  • Looks cool. I want to model, but I don't even know where to start.

  • @lego1movies1 no im watching this in 1936, you fucking idiot

  • @ArmandoandGrace no dip sherlok holmes

  • @lego1movies1 try to at least make sense if your gonna talk shit hahaha

  • @lego1movies1 Um, yes? I'm confused about the significance of this message. I also enjoyed watching this video last year, if you'd like to give me thumbs up for that I guess you could. :/

  • @lego1movies1 im watching this is 21/12/2012 seriously. im from the future

  • @lego1movies1 nope i thumbs u down >:( spammer

  • awersome

  • holy shit, this isn't real?

  • ^_^

  • man that is so awsome....

  • fake

  • @ninke99 hows this fake ... its an animation?

  • That was sweeeeeeeet

  • Awesome Work!!!! Hats Off To The Animator!!!! :D Can U Tell Us The Rendering Time???

  • Blender has its uses and is readily available to the public. It does take a bit of work to get use to all the hot keys but you can't deny it is progressing in every step towards a program that will eventually become more used then max for modeling.

For now though, I will stick with the ease of Max's platform.

  • so real

  • this is made with max? I don't believe that. WOW. It looks very realistic. A compliment !

  • 0:05 the collision is a bit off.

  • @keyinregulus5 I dont think it's ment to be a collision, I think the doors supposed to open automatically.

  • marbles are magnetic?

  • PLEASE MAKE A TUTORIAL

  • OMG i have to do this shit to go to state in skills usa and its ganna suck

  • If this was real I would go in my backyard and start practicing my backwards-bank-loop-half court shots.

  • I didn't realize it was fake until the end

  • The physics look a bit off, and some of the textures look muted.

Great lighting and camera work though.

  • Hi, I've just posted a video explaining how to get 3DS Max for free if you're a student. It is completely legal, through Autodesk themself. I would appreciate it a lot if you went and checked it out. Thanks very much.

  • could have got a nicer effect if you'd have used the inbuilt physics simulator

    oh wait

    it doent have one :3

    blender ftw!

  • @pipmdirector Or you use Maya...

but then again the pricetag is what really makes it worth it.

  • @Farrrgo true. personally i don't have £300 to spend on any software so I use blender but if i did i think i'd get maya. it seems a little more ergonomical, its much easier to get a good finish.

On the other hand, when i first started using maya at college I found it easy enough to learn but i was pretty slow and my results were, eh.. noobish.

Blender on the other hand wasn't a learning curve, it was a sheer cliff. after finally mastering it, i went back to maya and found it a doddle.

  • @pipmdirector I'm lucky enough to go to a school that is supported by AutoDesk, so I have their free educational 3-year licence for Maya and MudBox.

I'm not sure that it's that much of an improvement. Maya is surely easier to use, but the blender beta 2.56 is just about as capable, if you know what your doing. (Which I don't....)

  • @Farrrgo i completely agree with you (:

I'd say blender is more proffessional (open source is more proffessional than proffessional software? get out...)

Maya you can get great results pretty quickly with it out of the box, but it has limitations. it's like windows media player? (bad analogy? sorry) whereas blender is sorta like winamp. It takes a little longer to do what you want to do, but once you do it you have so many more options and there are hidden features that maya just doesnt have.

  • @pipmdirector Like the sculpting or painting features in blender. Those arn't in Maya, if you want that, you have spend another $375 for Mudbox.

I can only hope that blender keeps improving, I really thinks it's going to see a larger share of the market in years to come. Good Luck out there, keep creating!

  • @Cobac avatar: $33,000,000 budget half of which went towards a render farm. Sintel, $600 budget and that was for food and t shirts for the 12 man team that made it. You could be fooled into thinking they were made by the same team.

Point is maya isn't going anywhere but blender is evolving all the time. Commercial software is tied to investors, subsidies and profits. As soon as they run out so does the project.

Open source is free in every sense of the word.

  • @pipmdirector Avatars budget exceeded $237 million with some arguing that it almost reached $300 million. $33 millions was probably the budget for the everyday Doughnut break only

  • @cyberlord64 thanks for the fact check dude :D

  • @Cobac well obviously all major univercities have contracts and receive support from corporations like autodesk. That is because when their graduates will be employed they will be experts in software such as Maya and 3Ds max. Since Avatars designers were basicly the best that cameron could find they gave them the tools that they knew best instead of teaching them new software.

In a nutshell Avatar was made with maya because autodesk was smart enough to invest into colleges and univercities.

  • @Cobac £1000 minimum less...

  • @Cobac in the kitchen. I make smoothies with it, although, it would probably be smoother on 3DS max.

  • @Cobac costing $3495 less than your precious maya (being free of charge)! And not pumping out junk either. Look @ Sintel for beauty and modeling amazingness (but pay no attention to the character rigging there, it is quite poor). For more beauty and some great rigging, check out Big Buck Bunny. Be sure to watch both of those @ the highest resolution your computer supports.

  • @geek113377 i had my eyes on sintel since it's early development .... true it looks great try to get a job at an animation studio ( a profesional one that makes movies for theathers and blu-rays :D with only blender knowledge , they will ask for 3ds max and maya knowledge ..... i dont like maya i like 3ds max more :D

  • @Cobac excuse me, avatar was also made with lightwave

  • @ocerg1111 for crying out loud....... every artist uses his own prefered tool be it 3ds max , softimage , maya , lightwave ..... you will hardly see any blender used in HIGH production movies stuff because it's not considered industry standard

  • @Cobac tis true. I like both maya and LW. but blender is a great free entry-level tool to get people started with modeling.

  • @Cobac making short films like Big Buck Bunny, Elephants Dream and Sintel. Soooo, what were you trying to accomplish with your comment? I like Maya and I own the Autodesk Suite so I use Maya a lot, but I also use Blender. People use what they want and there's nothing wrong with that.

  • @10chadjordan01 :D read my newest comment i changed my biased opinion :D

  • @Cobac that's cool man. sorry if I came across the wrong way. I do understand though where you're coming from. Programs like Maya & 3ds Max are definitely more notable when it comes to large fortune 500 companies. I have one friend who works at Pixar and two friends who work at Dreamworks and they don't know of any Blender stations, but the Maya computers do exist at many locations. ;) I still love Blender though ;)

  • @Farrrgo and also,

the community behind blender is HUGE. that is the biggest trump that open source has against commercial software anywhere, you can get support and tutorials so easily from a huge community of developers and users, most of who'm are proffessionals.

I reccomend ward 799's tutorials (think that's it) he walks you through creating a character on blender from modelling, texturing, rigging, right down to animating and you learn all the little shortcuts that make blender so quick.

  • like if you have done this in real life

  • Graphics are nice, but you could clearly work a little more on the physics-parameters.

    Aaah, Reactor, good memories ^^

  • It looks real :D

  • realy cool!

  • hate this

  • @Magnezone3333 Why do you hate this?

  • i thought it was real until it hit the dominoes

  • Its 3d but stil nice! What do you think about my marble-machine?

  • Looks like real at the start :D

  • That is so epic!

  • how did you make the spiral slide?

  • GOD! What renderer were you using?

  • haha I recognise that sign at the end :D cant actually read it but i have seen so many videos that I'd know it anywhere.

And the description tells me I'm right, should have read that first. Wonderful! :)

  • how do you make the sprial slide?

  • Great!

  • THAT was AWSOME

  • I used the 3ds max curve editor to smooth out the camera movement. Unfortunately I couldn't fix the ball movement due the short deadline so it was left slightly jaggy(I had some issues with 3ds reactor). This was just a fast school project anyway.

  • I thought it was real until I saw the dart at the end, even though I read the title before I watched lol

  • Pythagora SU-I-CHI!

  • OMG

  • is that real?

  • (*boom*) synchronized...

  • Great! Now actually make it :P

  • make a tutorial please i will send you a cookie!:)

  • Amazing.

  • OMG ! VERY NICE

  • looks real, if you improve the rolling you will be awesome!!!

  • run it a bit faster a put sound to it and it will look more real

  • What did the chinies letters say?

  • Itaccora suicci

  • WHOA! That is AMAZING! How did you do that!?

  • In the future, computers will be able to render this within 1 minute

  • @HakerzTM tron legacy is what the future is.

  • cool that´s great^^

  • :O pitagora suitchi :D Awesome!

Very good animation, well done :D

  • Wait what this is computers

  • Fantastic.. with cgi, marble toys never goes wrong!

  • that looks real indeed...

  • What kind of sensor did you use for the trap door at 0:06?

  • pitagora suicchi? xD

  • *BANG!!* AHHH!!! THIS DOSENT MAKE YOU BREAKFAST AT ALL!!! IT JUST SHOOTS YOU!!!!

  • @MJBrEEzY93 omfg best comment i've seen in a long time

  • Great 3d software

  • Nice Animation

  • This is amazing considering how realistic it looks.

  • that must of taken ages to render :O

  • @ZaaxaHD how do you render the physics?
