Their are some people that need assistance like people who were victims of fire or lay off from work due to downsizing but If you don't have a job but can afford to get your hair and nails done. Why should my tax dollar go to helping people who can't help themselves.

Why doesn't the media ever ask questions such as "What sort of job do you need?", or "Did you know there are jobs available right here in Boca Raton?" I see lots of fast food and expensive hairdos. Where I live, we carpool and take beans and rice to work every day for lunch. My wife cuts my hair. We should take care of the elderly and those in real need. Beyond that, I am sickened by the sorry character of the remainder.

Lines for Sec 8 housing are overcrowded, yet thousands of job fairs across the country held for katrina victims go on with 0 attendance. It reminds me of the people in downtown NO that waited on their porches for the bus to take them away from the hurricane... when all they had to do was walk a block!

the only people who deserve assistance are the elderly,the disabled,and war vets.for the rest here are some suggestions:
1.if you live in government housing and off of someone elses dime,it should be conducted so in a strict military environment.
2.if you are on assistance you are not allowed more than one child,mandatory birth control including tube tying.
3.they must be sent to war when the army lacks ground forces.
if you can afford a cadi w/ gold rims you do not need assistance.
