You have no idea what you are talking about, college students don't give a damn about democracy. They were rioting because they wouldn't get the degree as promised by the college authority. So they rioted.

This event has nothing to do with democracy at all. The school officials lied to students about the college degree they offer.
Don't relate everything to democracy.
