the fluid in the tube is what cause the compression. when heat is applied the fluid expand in term it cause reaction and compression.

Beautiful engineering, your engines are an inspiration. Funny I had discussed with a friend years ago using liquid for low friction and a gas tight seal, did not know it had been done! My friends stirling engine "twitched" only, too much friction.....

But...We are desesperatly waiting for your first real "fluydine" whitout any "ringbom" displacer!
