  • Vitamix is generally pretty good about repairs, and as lancifer77 said, their built like tanks. Look into a reputable repair shop locally, or call the manufacturer.

  • Hey had the same problem...It was the potentiometer (the variable speed switch).

    7 yr warranty fixed for free.

  • Even if it isn't under warranty, you could still get it fixed. You might just have to pay extra though.

  • If you're not under warranty...take it apart and re-solder the connections. Seriously, these things are build like M1 tanks!
