There are plenty of other albums where he is singing solo, and I believe it takes an open mind to accept something out of the norm, and that usually comes with age.

as far as yellow bird...i read somewhere, can't remember where, that it is a reference to the Peanuts. As snoopy and woodstock (yellow bird) both speak, but nobody else understands them, except each other. They are the only ones that get each other and undertandone another.
