I just got the achievment. You have to dig through the ENTIRE area on any round. Even the areas that monsters have already dug through AND the area above ground.

I just obtained this achievement today... I've been seeing plenty of responses saying how you did indeed clear the stage, but haven't gotten the achievement. To get the achievement you have to get to the second stage and die. The next screen should show what achievements you obtained during your playing time and Dig should be one of them

When you have the screen completely dug-out walk round the screen once clockwise and once counter-clockwise, for me it seemed to trigger the achieve!

hey man! this worked for me after a while, even if the dirt is gone, there are SO small dirt left that it's invisible, you must go all way trough it, like first all the ways left and right, then up and down.

Removed all the dirt? Killed guy #3, and the last guy leaves the screen. I must ask...where is your player when the guy leaves the screen? If your in the dirt you won't get the achievement from my experience.

The orange Pucca's are so much easier to get rid of. I hated those fygar dragons. I like to remove 2 rocks & get the vegetable at the center of the screen for extra points.  It's a classic fun game.
